I am 5'5" also. I know what the charts say is healthy, but If I weight 130 I look like I have some horrible disease! It does depend A LOT on your frame, so don't get hung up on that. The low weight for a small frame is 117 and the high for a large frame is 155. I know I look my best at about 150-160. Also, keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat, so a person who works out a lot, but appears slim, will weigh more than a person who appears just as slim, but who doesn't have a lot of muscle.

You can't generalize so much but there is a healthy range, not really a healthy weight because there are many factors besides your height vs. weight. If you are very muscular your weight will be higher than a non-muscular person but you may still be healthIEr. So, for a 5' 5" female???? Between 120-140 would be normal but only a doctor can asses whether or not you are healthy ie blood pressure, resting pulse, cholesterol etc.

Your weight depends a lot on your bone structure. I don't know why people don't talk about this when talking about weight.
Do you have small, medium, or large bones.
If you have large bones then you must add 10 - 15 pounds to compensate for them, so you do not end up looking like a skeleton. I would venture a guess that if you are a medium boned woman who is 5'5 your weight should be around 130 - 135 , but if you have large bones add about 10 pounds to that, believe me you are still going to look great..

according to the charts the highest weight should be around 140. if you work out as much as you say you shouldn't have to worry about your weight too much. make sure you are eating the right amounts of all the food groups and you should be fine. how much do you weigh now? are you trying to lose, gain or maintain your weight?

You should be between 120 and 130. That is a good weight. You should be heavier if you are very muscular though.

You can find average weight charts on the web, but everyone's different so don't get obsessed! If you look and feel healthy, that's the goal, non?
