8 years ago I contracted shingles of the head. My doctor refused to prescribe me Acylovir despite my asking for it several times. During the course of the year my head tilted to one side and was difficult to move, my face was continuosly painfull/itchy. After nearly a year my tongue became paralised. I have difficulty eating and swallowing. I fell dizzy and have sight pand digestive problems. I on several occasions discussed my prognosis with my doctor and if I should take my company insurance as I was finding it difficult working - he gave no advice. Eventually I was made redundant as I was not working as before. I have now been diagnosed with aquired neuromyotonia by the London Neuro Hospital, whom I visited after complaining to another doctor of my frustrations. This was caused by the untreated shingles. I only got actions when I demanded second opinions etc. Do I have a case against my doctor who didnt seem to give a damm?

Has anyone heard of this? Her dr says he's never heard of it and shrugs it off. The reaction starts about 2 hours after the shot is given. She gets mad at everything, throws things, backtalks & we cant reason with her about anything. We're considering taking her off the shots

My children were on NC HealthChoice (which is kinda like Medicaid for people who aren't below the poverty level) but now I make too much (just barely). To add them to my insurace at work would be $500 a month!!!! 8-o

I have an appointment with my dr. tom... i asked my grandma to come to for extra support. I have been taking psychiatric medications and against my families wishes i know it is time for me to come off of them and start working... but im still nervous about this and it shows...i called the dr.s office today and forgot to say thank you after hanging up the phone... any advice for what i can do to make a good impression with the dr. tomorrow so he will listen to me.???

I tried eating healthier but its nasty and I tried exercise but no luck and my docter said I'm going to have real problems if I keep eating unheaalthy and I'm scared but I love greasy foods.

Okay so i already know what a yeast infection and a bacterial infection is. So we can rule that out unless you really think it is . .and i've been with the same guy for almost 7 years and the last time i went to the doctors everything was fine but a bacterial infection 2 months ago and was treated with antibiotics. Now I keep getting this not fishy but a little bit of a odd odor coming from down there. Now my urine is kinda cloudy too. DO you think the bacteria could have spread to my urine and the smell could be coming from that? also i don't have yeast discharge just a very cloudy clear almost a thin white. any suggestions of what this could be? also is it possible because i sit all day withmy legs crossed at my desk at work that the smell could be from my parts sweating? Cotton undies are also ruled out . .i've done everything to figure it out but doesn't seem to change even with antibiotics and paps. Please help!

My boyfriend has stomoach pains everyday and throws up all the time the pain has been so bad that he been to the hospital many times

They can't find any reason why he is been having this pain and it's been happening for over a year.

He did have his gulblatter removed and has been it hospitals in Mexico, Ohio, and Texas and they all say they don't know why his having this pain everyday.

On a scale of 1-10 he says the pain is at least an 8 or more

I am 24 and about 25 lbs over weight. I realize that you can't just take a magical pill and lose weight over night. My throat is not burning or scratching...but sore like glands are swollen. It has gotten better but it is still there and I'm wondering if the infection in my eye can cause my nose to be runny and therefore give me this sore throat. I have heard people get malaised and just yucky with pink eye but others have said it's just annoying. I have been given drops and I honestly feel better already as far as my eyes are concerned....but the rest of me feels yuck. Anyone similar?

When looking at dental questions posted on Yahoo Answers people always suggest to others to use Listerine as if it is some miracle mouthwash!! Listerine is no more effective than any other mouthwash (except for the really cheap ones of course because they are just crap)!! Are there people on here being paid to endorse this product or something!! Look if you are going to suggest to someone to use mouthwash just mention mouthwash don't suggest Listerine because in my opinion it is no more effective than some own brand mouthwashes, and is just ridiculously more expensive!!
