almost everyone tells me to put my back straight when i walk.. my sister told me if i don't i will have a hump on my back when i'm older..lol..i try to stand straight but then after awhile i forget to..how can i get use to standing straight?

My son has been coughing a lot lately and I can hear the difficulty he is having breathing. I have taken him to several doctors and they all say the same thing. I really believe that he has asthma due to giving him breathing treatments that have worked. Is there anything else I can provide my 7 year old to help ease his condition?

I started being vegatairian at the begining of 2006 as a new years resolution.also to get fit and in shape was part of it.I have thyroid problems and it makes me slower, fat, and less activeso I have to take a pill everyday.from the begining of the year I slowly sheded pounds I went from 98 to 87. I am STILL losing wait but i don't need to,it just keeps going away.My long diet, activeness,and being a vegitarian has chaned me completely , not just by looksbut what I like.I always love to do active things, especially running.I love to work out, and I think I have OCD I hate eating badly, and not exercising.I still eat but I'm a VERY, VERY picky eater. sometimes , my parents think I'm anorexic
or balemic. But I haven't thrown up in years.and I eat. not as much as when I was over wieght.
but I eat. . But what what is the worry is if I'm getting the right foods. so what might be some good nutritions for a vegitarian ?

78 yr female with life long thyroid problems. impression 2:bilateral hypoechoic areas visualized within the thyroid lobes, the most prominent on the right. these do not show increased vascularity and may represent necrotic adenoma. these 2 impressions from my wife's ultrasound last week. dr. said not to worry and left for vacation. wife has taken pills for years and kept control of her thyroid. layman needs explanation. do I need a second opinion. slight restriction in throat was reason for visit. thanks, john

I have a cut on the back of my ankle, I had forgotten to clean it except for 2 days after it happened... its not very deep but it has a rose colored ring around it... and close to the cut it gets to a pretty dark red... does this mean its infected?

I'm 5"6, 144 lbs, and am a 13 year old girl. I have a medium build. I'm no twig that's for sure, but I am concerned with my weight. I have basically no muscal....anywhere. Somedays I'll get on the treadmill (the horror) for 20 minutes, and that's it. But I don't always use that treadmill. Should I be concerned about my weight? I have a little stuttering problem. It's not that bad, but I think in my head it's a lot worse than it really is. Sometimes I think too fast and try to rush out my thoughts. I was just recently accepted into dental school, and I'm worried that I'll run my patients off or scare them. I think I am just being paranoid! What would you guys do if your dentist stuttered? I made it past the interview because I was really focused and I knew I couldn't screw up. But when I feel really relaxed and get in that social mood and try to force out a whole bunch of thoughts at once, I stumble over words every now and then. I know everybody stutters now and then, but mine is a little bit more than that, but it's not severe either.

I have arthritis in my spine for 35 yrs,now have seizer problems,had traffic accident,blanked out and don't remember anything.Am bipolar,generalized anxiety disorder and depression.am 52 yrs old,left the workforce 2 months ago becuase of seizures diagnosed 3 yrs ago,lost ODL,and don't trust my driving abilities no more.
The neurologist confirmed a mild abnormality in the left side of my brain.

ok.. i took my twins to the dr yesterday for a regular check up and they pricked their fingers to take blood and they found out that one of my boys has anemia.. i was just wonder is there any one out there that can tell me some healthy foods to help him in getting his red blood cells back to normal.. and let me in own some secrets for getting him to eat foods like leafy greens.. and this is not a problem that we have had before.. and he is also just getting over a slight cold and the dr said that sometimes this can make the count go down.. so they are just keeping any eye on him to make sure that is all that it is.. and she also put him on some iron medicine..

For the past five minutes, every breath I take I get this pain in my chest and a shooting pain down my left outter arm going to my thumb/palm. Then a few minutes later the pain goes into a dull pain and it feels like I have weights pulling my left arm.

I've tried with the patches once but wasn't successful. Since then though I've started taking Pozac for anxiety and a nerve pill just when my anxiety is really high. Should I try the patches again or an alternative? Did you or anyone you know stop smoking with any of these programs?
