I have a cut on the back of my ankle, I had forgotten to clean it except for 2 days after it happened... its not very deep but it has a rose colored ring around it... and close to the cut it gets to a pretty dark red... does this mean its infected?

Yes, there is some infection in the surrounding tissue. You should put some antibiotic cream on it and put a bandaid on it for a few days. If you develope and red streas coming from the area you'll need to see your doctor.

It may be.... sometimes thats just the normal healing stage.
if it gets worse or you are really concerned go to your DR.
