well, since i'm a teenager...i'd say myspace and the internet in general makes me so distracted.
especially when you have a ten page report due at the end of the week.
like i do right now.
this is why i'm rarely on the computer unless i need it. if i go on microsoft word and type something, a sentence later i'm back to internet explorer looking on myspace or some other webpage.
it just seems like theres so much more interesting things to do than write a report. lol
i'd also say stress plays a major role in making one distracted.

In my case it's usually boredom. When I'm bored I don't pay close attention to things or people. I might get introduced to someone and one moment later not remember thier name and it is simply because I was not paying attention in the first place and I actually have an excellent memory.
Yep, boredom.

the main cause is that you not intrested enough in the subject its just now something that gets you going. there for you look for things that do.
