Actually it's not as bad as it sounds, I just want to know how to go about telling him that he needs to take care of his teeth because they have plaque build up and bleed when be brushes them. It even gets to the piont when he drinks a RED drink it stains on to his teeth..... Any suggestions??

I've had for a while a lump on my wrist it comes for a few weeks then goes away and comes back. The lump is on the top of my right wrist, moving it causes extreme pain. its been about two years I've had this. I havent seen a doctor because it does go away but when it comes back I try not using my had at all. Even when I dont move it I get this like annoying pain feels like my joint ya know the achey pain. What could this be?

I recently went to the doctor for swollen tonsils and a sore throat. He suggested blood work and a X-Ray since I have had ongoing sinius problems. He was confident the X-Ray would give me a good result and told me not to worry. Yesterday the hospital call and suggested I get a CAT scan due to a englarged gland near my lungs.

I quit smoking a month ago, and I am still coughing up brown stuff, and on occasion I have some streaks of blood in my phlem. My chest pain is all towards the right of my chest, right next to my nipple basically. And the pain only comes when I move a certain way. My doctor thought this could be from Costochondritis.

I am just wondering what could be wrong? I look up lymph node problems in the chest and all that comes back is lung cancer, and hodgkins diease? I have also told this could be something as minor as alergies or my sinius infection.

Just curious what this could be, could it be related to me quitting smoking?

ok I have a stuffy nose and it REALLy bothers me cause I can't breath or sleep. Anyway I would like to kno the proper way of blowing my nose. And can u tell me a cure to the stuffed nose. Not like syrup or medicen somethin u make at home.

What a wonderful time to get sick... 2 days after Christmas.. Ughh I'm writing this in hopes of somebody being able to help me with my mothers situation.
A while back (probably 3-4 weeks ago) my grandmother was sick...constantly throwing up and having diarrhea sometimes at the same time. Finally the dr had a name for what was happening (by the way, this went on for like 2.5 weeks with her and she lost a lot of weight and this is my fathers mom)... the dr said it was the Norwalk Virus. My dads sister went out and spend the night with her on a friday night (about 2 weeks ago) and the next day she had the same thing and it lasted 2-3 days causing her to miss a day of work. My grandmother was getting better and my parents went out to see her Christmas morning. Assuming, as per usual, they both gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek.

Opinions especially welcome from men.
If a bloke regularly does a whole bottle of wine and 2 or 3 pints of beer (per night) is that normal, or above average? If above average, would it constitute binge drinking or a drink problem? Would it worry you? Would you reserve this volume of intake for the weekends or is it just the right amount to help you relax after a day's work? Comments please

I already know a good diet to help me loose some weight and stay healthy, but I need to tone up as well. I have a flabby tummy still from having my son a few years ago. I had started getting in shape but the last few months I've let it go. I just need to know the best exercise to tone up my tummy the quickest. Please keep in mind I need something I can do at home because I work and I have a 3 year old, so I can't go running or to a gym. Should I just do sit-ups? If so, how many and how long before I can start to see results? Thank you!

I see signs that say 'no cigar or pipe smoking' but cigarette smoking is ok. What's the point? I don't smoke anything so it doesn't really matter to me, but I just think that one kind of smoke is ok and others aren't. Any ideas on why this is?

My Mom was diagnosed w/ clinical depression several months back. She is 73 yrs old. Her common sense reasoning seems to be partially impaired - for instance, in a nursing home, after dinner, she said that she is responsible for collecting all the dirty dishes and put them into the kitchen and that she is responsible for the welfare for all the other people in the nursing home....

Does this kind of delusion related to clinical depression or this is something else ?

my teeth most days and I floss once a week.
I used Asda brand mouth wash at least 3 times a week.
I cant afford one of these posh toothbrushes that can clean your tongue but I use a nail brush on my tongue at least once a week.
what else can I do?
advice please as its starting to affect my love life.
