I've had treatments for depression for about 3 years now. None of the depression treatments such as medication and ECT helped.

I recently suspected sleep apnea and went for an overnight sleep study. They confirmed that I was experiencing sleep apnea, and I had a partial night's rest using the CPAP machine at the testing location, but it wasn't a full night's rest using it.

The test was last weekend, and they said it would be 7-10 days for a doctor to analyze the data and get back to me. I won't know how severe my sleep apnea is until I hear from the doc...

I was wondering if anyone would like to share their sleep apnea problems and solutions, and how well they did (or didn't) work. I'm especially interested in anyone's story involving depression, either due to or made worse by sleep apnea.

I'm not terribly overweight, 6ft 1in and 220 lbs, but the doc said I have a very narrow throat, and my severe allergies and sinus problems play a role.

I appreciate anyone's storys!

A resolution of mine, along with the rest of the world, this year, is to lose weight and get into better shape:
If I am to commit to an hour of moderate to high intensity on a treadmill every day, religiously, and volleyball practise for my college team 2-3 times a week, will I see results?
What else can I do to boost fat/weight loss? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

For pink eye, some symptoms are itchiness, and when you wake up in the morning your eyes are glued shut. I don't have those symptoms. My eyes are just a pale pink and my vision is blurred. Sometimes I feel like one eye stings but it goes away. Is it still pink eye? They're also a bit dry, too.

Do I have to withdraw from this slowly if I have only taken it for six days? I take .25 in morning and .25 at night. How can I do this? Can I just stop since I have only taken it 6 days? Please help? If not, how do I taper it off?

I'm starting Wellbutrin for depression and to quit smoking, but I just don't think I can quit cold turkey. I want to gradually stop. It said on the package to let your doctor know if you smoke before taking this medicine.... Does that mean you can't smoke at all once you take it?

My old dentist used a water drill not the old style metal drill for fillings - that would be perfect if this dentist used the new technology. I am not a great patient so I need laughing gas - well..... want laughing gas. Plus I want someone that uses the white fillings, sealants, and can do teeth whiting. Needs to take BC/BS of florida or is a Shands provider. Any referrals?

I recently read that 1200mg of calcium a day can help you to lose weight as it prevents fat being absorbed. Has anyone any experience of this?
