The average adult needs at least 8 hours of sleep, so make sure you get those. I tell myself in the morning when my alarm rings that I got what I needed wich was my 8 hours, then I go on askign myself, alright you don't wanne get up? Whats the matter Dee? & then I think about if staying in bed/at home will make it better....the answer is NO most of the time...I am not a morning person as well, I am a grouch lol...so I take my grouchy self to work!

The best way to wake up early and feeling refreshed is to go to bed earlier at night.
Everything else has to be in order as well.

Eating earlier in the evening, a meal which does not contain foods which will take long to digest..
Relax your body, perhaps read a book, watch TV, talk to a friend on the phone, say your prayers.
Good luck.

The best way to wake up is naturally, or on your own without an alarm clock. Unfortunately with our hectic schedules most people cant afford that luxery...I think maybe you are not sleeping soundly through the night and you should see your MD about it. Changes in diet and exercising could also help. Good luck!

I've been that way my entire life. I fought going to bed earlier and fought it and fought it. I'm a 12 midniter at best. Now at 30 (something) I realized my job is more important than my sleep. I now go to bed at 11:30 or a tad earlier. Makes a huge difference.

get an alarm clock for the blind and deaf. That's what my parents did to me. It's:
A.) REALLY LOUD
B.) It has a part that you put underneath your mattress that shakes your bed. (that's how blinds use it).

It has worked really well, just careful you don't turn it too loud. The Shaking is more vibrating anyways, so its like waking up to a massage!

turning lights on helps your body wake up because then it thinks it is day and time to be up. It is better to have dimmer lights in the morning though so you dont have to wake up to really bright lights.

Have a friend throw water on you.

Surround yourself by clocks. That's what my sister does. She puts clock on her pillow and it always works. Lol.
