and then last month i got my blood tested and it said that my Biluribin was 1.6 but it should be less than 1.. What could be possibly wrong. should i see a doctor

1)don't worry,,bilirubin 1.6 is not a cause of worry,it will come down to normal in a few weeks
2)you must give importance to your diet so that you do not get hep A again,,wash vegetables before cooking,avoid outside food,
3)preferable drink water after boiling
4)use proper filter to purify your drinking water

Hepatitis A is an acute infection, with no chronicity. It cannot last for 6 months. Why did you have your blood tested for liver function? 1.6 bili is not significant. However, there could be some other reason for bili to be raised.

you should see your doctor. There is a possibilty that the medication prescribe to you is not working properly

You do not say the type of hepatitis. If it is C for example, you have chronic liver disease.
