To be able to still be healthy and function normally?

I tried on 5-6 hours sleep each night for a week but ended up sleeping for about 12 on the Saturday night, would I get used to it in the end? Or get ill?

I have about 90lbs I want to lose but would like to get a good start if I can. I love that show Biggest Loser and I see how they lost 10 or more in a week. Just curious if its really possible and what I could do. What I need to eat, and what kind of exercise I need to do? Please no smart remarks, I really need help. Thank you!

I have lower back pain during my period, and my stomach really hurts too. Its mostly my back that really bothers me though. The lower back, and the pain kind of wraps around to where (im guessing) my ovaries are on either side. Any suggestions?

I used to be overweight and I lost 40 pounds way too fast, I think. I did a lot of runnning for 2 months and lost the 40 pounds. Problem I've been having is that I want to tone up, build muscle, but I just can't keep at it. What do I do to make me want to keep at it and really tone up? I am not fat, but I do have a lot of extra baggage.

I don't get a period on my own so my doctor prescribed Seasonale a few months ago. For those of you who aren't familiar with Seasonale, it makes it so you only have 3 periods a year. Last month I finished my first pack of Seasonale and my period was a full week late. I was not pleased with Seasonale in general, so I called my doctor and switched to Tri-Sprintec, the generic form of Ortho Trycyclin Lo. I took my last active pill on Saturday and have not had my period yet. When I used to take Ortho about a year ago, my periods came on the same day of every month like clockwork. Could my period be late because I switched birth control pills and my body is confused? I've ruled out pregnancy as it would be very difficult for me to become pregnant, seeing as how I don't get a period without birth control pills. Anyone experience something similar to this? Thanks.

I am not really worried about this, but I don't think it is normal either. I have had my period for five years and it has always been somewhat irregular, and on a long cycle. It happens not every 28 days or so but anywhere from 45 to 60 days apart, and most recently it was 70 days. Could something be wrong, or is it fine? Could there be problems in the future?

Stands for Sticking Leeches On Myself.
The leech has 32 brains - 31 more than a human.
The leech will gorge itself up to five times its body weight.
Some leeches are parasites, that is, they live off other organisms without benefiting the host in return.
The largest leech discovered measured 18 inches.
Leeches are found in shallow ponds, lakes, and marshes.
After a leech drops off its host, the wound will bleed, on average, for ten hours.
The Hirudo leech injects an anti-coagulant serum into the victim to prevent the blood clotting.
Studies show that the cocoons of a leech are capable of surviving the digestive system of a duck.
Some leeches will even feed on other sanguivorous (blood sucking) leeches!
Like worms, leeches are hermaphroditic - they have both male and female sexual organs.
If you have seen the commercial you notice the kids with leeches on them.

Christmas and vocations are coming up, everyone should be happy and exited, right? Well not me. Things have been absolutely horrible lately and I'm feeling like crap. The last blow came when I realized that I failed two of my classes in college, which might delay my graduation. If I failed because I did not study, I could accept it as my fault. However, many things happened in my life that were out of my control ( that are too personal to discuss here), and I did try to do good to the best of my ability and still failed! This makes it even worse because I can't get a straight answer from academic advisors if I will be able to graduate or not! Now I get a whole month off college, and how am I supposed to enjoy it when all I'm thinking about are the problems I'm having?

I have heard there is something that they do to your ear that is supposed to help you quit smoking. Does anyone know what it is called and where I can read up on it?

since i will be getting bunion surgery and feet will be in casts,i will have to probably use a bedpan. I will ask the nurse what i will use, she will probably say a bedpan. But since i feel uncomterable of having her see me, is it alright if i ask for something simpler like a diaper. Do they usualy let you choose the method you want to do, bed pan or diaper? is diaper a smater choice. I will be spending the night for 1 night. I am 12 years old.
