I'm really not good with pain ... I'm worried about the pain involved in passing a kidney stone ... a ct scan found that I have a 4.3mm stone in my left kidney. I'd appreciate if someone could tell me their experience with passing a kidney stone. Thanks!

Im not over weight but 1-3 kilos of me is lyk jelly belly on the stomach that no one can see but id like to lose that so i feel confident , please help!

1. start off with a 3 day 900 calorie diet to kick start my weight loss so I will be motivated to keep losing weight.
2. diet: I am going to try to eat less but as long as I exercise a ton I will lose weight by just eating less.
3. exercise: jump rope 1 hour, strength training: 20 reps each exercise, run 20 minutes, jog 20 minutes, crunches: 150(50 to each side and up)

give me any advice for this plan and anything to add or not do, etc.... thanks.....if all goes well I plan to lose 10 pounds in the next 2 or 3 weeks because the weight will come off pretty fast at first.....

I'm generally quite healthy, eating an abundance of whole vegetables and fruits, lean poultry and occasionally fish, no processed sugars, honey or maple syrup. I use some stevia, and do drink a fair amount of milk. I've developed some weird chapped lips, though, and nothing seems to work. They began as redness in the corner of the mouth, now have spread to both lips, including the corners. Makes me look like a bit of a clown. Blistex in the tube is keeping them supple and helping them hurt less, but they look just dreadful! I've tried Burts Bees marsh mallow salve (since marsh mallow is supposed to be good on sores). Anyone else have (and solve) this kind of problem? It seems a little trivial to go to the doctor for. Perhaps it's an allergy of some sort...

My fathers dentures have broken 5 times, now surely it would be cheaper to give them a proper pair in the first place, have the elderly and poor become second class citizens everyone should be entitled to the same treatment, he`s been told by his dentist if he wants a decent pair that wont break he has to pay for it privately

Hi.. i am 25 year old Female. i have Throat pain that is only there when swallowing cold liquids. Its not like a sore throat but a shooting pain that radiates to my ear. it has been a year now and i am still not diagnosed with anything. i have been to the doc 5 times and once to an ENT where they cannot find anything wrong. i constantly have mucous draining down the back of my throat and one of my tonsils is Asymetrical (dr says its fine) i just recently found 2 little lumps (about the size of a B B) on both sides of my neck ( one on each side) if i had throat cancer wouldnt i have more symptoms after a year? i do cough but i have asthma also.

Hey all,
I recently had blood work done just to get checked up and my lymph nodes section of the blood work came back irregular high the doctor stated. He stated that its nothing to worry about but didnt go into detail. He stated that he would run the test again and see if the levels came back high again. He did and they came back fine he said. My concern is why did they come up high to begin with ? What causes these levels to go up ? I hear that lymphatic cancer usually runs in the family, but it doesn't in mine. I do smoke about 8 cigarettes or less a day. I use to smoke more but lowered it because i have been trying to quit.
Never the less what does make this test come back high in levels and are there any preventative measures i can take for my health besides quitting smoking as im trying that now ?

I split up with my husband of 13 years in February and since then seem to go from one illness to another........breast lump (undergoing monthly tests), blood clot in my leg (undergoing treatment still), stomach ulcers, losing weight. i have just turned 30, and have had raynaulds disease for the past 10 years, gradually worsening (although my fingers suffer a little it`s my toes which i have a major problem with). this year is the worst yet, with my toes permanently white (no blood flow) and the toes on my right foot are just horrific, one of which is very ulcerated and double it`s usual size. the pain when they are warmed is awful. i try to keep my feet as warm as possible - 2-3 pairs of thermal socks, and fleece lined warm boots but this makes no difference - indoors i have a hot-water bottle under my feet when i am sitting down, and i can still feel that my toes are ice-cold! in a hot bath they take 15 minutes at least for the blood flow to return. i have tried everything i can think of - deep heat cream, different socks/footwear... and really, it isn`t even that cold yet! does anyone have any advice or anything that has worked for them?

i had miscarriage so i had a d&c performed 3weeks ago,i didnt bleed much for a day or so,me and my partner been ttc ever since only proberbly missed 3-4days on seperate occasions,ive been getting alot of backpains,diahoroa,sickly feeling,headaches,bloating, my nipples are discharging this white stuff,geting little aches and pains in my lower stomach,im also taking folic acid so what do you think?xx
