I got traintracks on teh bottom set which are fine, and a removable brace/plate on the top. the plate is really thick and is on the roof of my mouth and i find it very difficult too speakk and its so embarrassing. does anyone know how long this will last or how i can stop it from affecting my speech?

People don't go to the doctor to tell them the diagnose (it's nuts), they tell them the symptoms, the doctor diagnoses. But I know I have that, I've done some research and my symptoms match. I always thought that this was just my personality and that while some people enjoy going out and having fun and such, I "enjoy" staying the whole week-end in my bedroom, alone, in bed doing nothing. I've been like this for years, since I was around 15 or even less than that... I'm 21 now. And I never wanna go out, it's a huge effort for me. I could stay at home lying on my bed forever, if it was for me. I don't care.
The thing is lately I've been chatting with people over the net and it just hit me. All people my age go out on week-ends and have fun at least one of the two nights, if not both. And I have no interest in getting out of my bedroom, ever.

Is it just nuts to go and tell him: "I have dysthymic disorder", cure me?

35 yrs.old m. was found died early morning lying on the floor opposite a closed door of an office,a knife was discovered by his foot carrying his fingers prints on its handle,his body showed a cut wound involving big veins of Lt. side of his neck with some superficial ones crossing it,the Rt. side showed a deep 1 cutting the ext. carotid art.,also 2 small so superficial cut wounds were showen on the the front of the neck,also longitudinal stab wound about 08 cm penetrating abd. cavity along midline with no viceral or great vessels injury,and just so superficial small wound 2 the mesentry ,with no intra- abdominal hge. body showed no other injuries including his upper limbs,
IS IT POSSIBLE 2 BE A SUICIDE ...?

My Granny was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer Oct 06 and she I think is in her last moments of life. She cannot get out of bed, hospice is with her 24/7, she can barely speak except for light wispers and one can hardly tell what she is saying. She hasn't eaten anything in over a week except 3 spoonfulls of tomato soup she drinks less than 2 cups of liquid a day, she is lucid one moment and not the next. Can anyone give me a timeframe for her death, maybe, since I haven't been through anyone dying like this since I was a child and cannot remember. I know no one can give me an exact date, but approx. how many days does she have? I live 4 hours away from her and see her twice a week as it is. She is my beloved Granny and I love her, she is in very little pain, thank goodness. Thanks for your help!!

Last night I was watching a movie and all of the sudden I felt dizzy, lightheaded, wierd, like I was going to get sick. I had felt fine all day. I relaxed, I cleaned my daughters room. Earlier in the day I had a pain in my head for a second and then it was gone. I had stayed up late the night before and was drinking but I was not hung over or still drunk yesterday. This moring I still feel like I am not myself. I can't consintrate on anything with my eyes. My heart rate is about 72 beats per minute. What could it be? Am I just tired? Why would I fel fine all day then all of a sudden feel so bad? Anything will help thanks!!

Okay, First had lump in neck, then felt lump in throat. Had ultrasound. They found a nodule on thyroid a little over 1 cm. They are sending me to an endocrinologist. (spelling?) Anyways,. I have the report of ultrasound. IT said the nodule was hypoechoic, only moderately well defined, Microcalcifications within it are suspected and it has central and peripheral flow. I am so upset. I read all of those things point to malignancy.. Please help me
