well... depends on what your definition of healthy is... but i'll state some general ones.

stay away from rice cakes. rice cakes get you with ow fat, but they're usually sprinkled with some kind of artificial sweetner and are generally fattening. rice will actually convert into sugar when digested. a bowl of rice will burn into abowl of sugar(so my nutritionist tells me anyway).

he tells me stay away from processed carbs(which is very hard to do in america). no breads, no cakes, no pies, no crackers, cookies, noodles, etc. if you despretly need carbs, eat squash, pumpkins, parsnips... stuff like that. it's tough, but it makes the occasions when you do eat it a lot tastier.

eat protien. even if there's fat on your steak or mercury in your fish, you'll probably be a whole lot thinner and healthier if you are eating more protien than carbs.

veggies and fruits are alright. do yourself a favor though and avoid juicing. juices will unlock a lot of vitamins that are trapped inside fruits and veggies, but it will also unlock all the sugar. though many lobbyists will say otherwise, orange juice is really fattening and almost as bad for you as a fanta.

what i like to do is when i cook meat, i cook some extra so i can have leftovers to make snacks with. lettuce wraps with leftover meats and veggies. clementines. edamame(soybeans). baby carrots. and popcorn... but go a little light on the topping neh?

For breakfast try including cereals like whole grain oats and orange and othe freshly squeezed juices. For lunch try adding a lot of salads. Try adding Salmon to you diet. It'll work wonders for your mood and health, and also strengthen your joints.
If you are caffeinedependent take green tea in place of black tea or coffe.
As for snacks, go for nutritious cereal bars and wheatabix kind of stuff, it tastes great and is very nutritious. Beside you can munch on dry fruits and bannana, if you consider them snacks.
