I have a small button sized pimple like bump in my butt. How can you tell if it's a boil or an abscess by looking at it? One day I woke up with this pain in my butt and when I went to see what it was there was this pimple like bump with a dark spot at the middle. Next morning I woke up to realize that I'm having trouble sitting because of the pain(it hurts coz when I sit at it). I have classes up to evening and it's really uncomfortable to sit in long periods especially while travelling. Now it is kinda shiny and red and has white stuff inside but there's no white spot.

When I got home I placed a hot compress on it with salt for about 6-10 mins. The white puss came out but not all. After I placed a bandage over it.

Is it a boil or an abscess and what's the difference? thanks

i had surgery last october on my knee (lateral release) and the pain this year is worse then it was before surgery. Ive been told many times that its just the weather, but the weather cant effect it like this all freakin year! I had a cordison shot once before surgery and it actually made the pain worse. My original ortho now lives in SC, and there are many other doctors at the practice, but i dont want to have to go through the same thing over again with another doc. What should i do? ive tried all sorts of different pain meds, ice, physical therapy (3 times), and then finally last year with the surgery...whats next?

My right knee is stiff a bit swollen and I'm having difficulty bending it properly, I dont remember any significant cause but am wondering how you know if it's fluid or something else? I dropped something heavy on my foot last night and it hurts really bad. I got shooting pains in my foot and keep getting pins and needles. I dont think the bone is broken although it is sticking up a bit and i cant touch as it hurts so much. The area is bruised. Do you think i should get this checked out?

I'm 17, 5'11, weigh 150 pounds, and I've had stretch marks since i was 14. Why is that? I haven't lost or gained weight suddenly nor have I grown really fast. Is there anything I can due to get rid or diminish the appearance of the stretch marks? Please help because it's very visible when I'm wearing shorts. Should I start running on treadmills to get rid of 10 pounds?

quite extensive bilateral gliotic changes in both parietal lobes.
disproportionate amount of subarachnoid blood in the region of the right sylvian fissures and front sulci, and smalll subdural haemorrage along the anterior falx.
total lose of smell (olfactory nerves).
the above has resulted in poor balance to the left hand nerver system, poor memory and very limited concentation.
