An alternative treatment for Behcet is interferon alph-2a. It is effective in this disease particularly for the management of the mucocutaneous lesions of the disease.

Go to your search bar and type in "alternative treatment for behcet" and there are several sites where you can read up on this.

Hope this helps - Good Luck!

The mayo clinic and American Behcet Disease Association 'treatment' pages list some other medicines.

The 'symptoms' page of the American Behcet Disease Association says that the exact cause is unknown, but it is an auto-immune disease, where the body's immune system attacks itself. It isn't infectious from person to person. It isn't fatal and the symptoms can be treated with various medicines for each specific affect.
