I am tongue tied. What is the cost of the operation they can do to fix it?

Since it's done out-patient, under a local anesthesia, it's very inexpensive. My baby brother's total bill was about $800, and insurance paid 90% of it. They have to make sure there are no veins and nerves that are going to effect anything before they do the tiny snip. Good Luck.

THIS IS A RATHER SIMPLE PROCEDURE WHERE FIRST THEY GET YOUR TONGUE NUMB SO YOU FEEL NOTHING. THEN A SMALL CUT IS MADE WHERE YOUR TONGUE IS TOO TIGHT AND A SIMPLE STITCH OR TWO ARE PLACED THERE. THE HEALING IS UNEVENTFUL AND THERE ARE USUALLY NO PROBLEMS. THE SUTURES DISSOLVE BY THEMSELVES.
