I know that dogs can be carriers of Strep and can pass it along to their humans ... but I honestly don't know if it works the other way around. If you suspect that you have Strep, I'd give your Vet's office a quickie call ... you might have picked it up from your dog. While you're getting your dog checked out, you could ask the Vet your question about what, if any, illnesses you could pass along to your dog.
Best Wishes for Good Health to you and your dog !!

Dogs and humans can spread illness back and forth.
Years ago I had a dog that was a strep-throat carrier. We kept getting sick and finally had the dog checked. She was the carrier of the illness and was treated with antibiotics.

I'm pretty sure you can't spread a flu or a cold.
But there are diseases that humans carry that might not affect the human but could affect animals. You should wash your hands before and after interacting with them.
I'm not quite sure about dogs or cats, but I know I have to wash my hands before interacting with my other animals (I have chickens and goats, and whatnot) But I suppose it'd be the same.

LOL. Canine immunology is way different than humans, I couldn't even begin to explain the differences, but in the words of God himself, whats the worst that could happen, you get your dog sick? For chrissakes.

Early people could eat uncooked meat. Odds on, we've so used to cooking it, that our bodies are not designed to regulate too properly anymore. That stated, we probably can eat lots of meat uncooked. Ever had a Blue steak? (Amilia - particular, people weren't in any respect meant to be actual Carnivores. yet, do remember there is extremely a third team referred to as Omnivores that eat a mix of plant life and meat...)

In most cases no, you can't give something to your pet or them to you. Colds in particular can't be given to your pets and it's unlikely you can give the flu to your dog either.
Of course certain diseases such as rabies don't follow this but for most things you're likely to catch your dog is safe.
