I don't get a period on my own so my doctor prescribed Seasonale a few months ago. For those of you who aren't familiar with Seasonale, it makes it so you only have 3 periods a year. Last month I finished my first pack of Seasonale and my period was a full week late. I was not pleased with Seasonale in general, so I called my doctor and switched to Tri-Sprintec, the generic form of Ortho Trycyclin Lo. I took my last active pill on Saturday and have not had my period yet. When I used to take Ortho about a year ago, my periods came on the same day of every month like clockwork. Could my period be late because I switched birth control pills and my body is confused? I've ruled out pregnancy as it would be very difficult for me to become pregnant, seeing as how I don't get a period without birth control pills. Anyone experience something similar to this? Thanks.

your body is probably just not adjusted to the change in the hormon levles yet...
the same thing happened to me when i switched my pill, it took about three months to level-out, now i get my periods regularly.
Maybe it will be a symilar situation for you, but if you still don't get your period after 2-3 months I would go and talk to you doctor...

No, I have not experienced this.

But from what it sounds like you're body is just having a hard time switching your hormone levels since your hormone levels were off to begin with.

Give this new type of BC a try for a few months to really get your body on a full cycle system. If it still isn't working I would consult other doctors then the one you have,
