I have been sick with flu for more than 2 weeks? i went to my doctor, did everything he asked me to do, and took vacation, but still my throat aches, my bone aches, my nose and my body ache too, could my doctor be wrong about the Flu?

My boxer gets eye irritations that don't respond to conjunctivitis treatment. She's 9 yo, healthy except for the skin tumors that plague this breed. Exam shows only roughened cornea surface, mostly on one eye. No injuries or FBs.

I am taking Nourish vitamins by Healthy Hair Plus (http://www.healthyhairplus.com).
These are taken twice a day and contain 40 mg Niacin, 400 mg folic acid, 6mg vitamin B-12, 600 mcg Botin, 92 mg Panthonenic acid, 30 mg chlorophyll, 100 mg iodine, 20 mg zinc oxide, 10 mg manganese gluconate, 30 mg PABA, and 4 mg of each of the essential amino acids.
I have been advised to take Biotin, which I bought in a bottle with 1,000 mcg in each vitamin capsule, and it says to take one per day.
I have also been advised to take a Vitamin-B Complex vitamin daily.
Someone said that prenatal vitamins are great for hair growth.
I take a multivitamin daily as well.
I have some vitamins from hairtopia (http://www.hairboutique.com), too, but I have replaced them with the vitamins from healthy hair plus.

I fear that I might be taking too many vitamins and I would like to know what would be the most beneficial combination for healthy hair!!!!!!

I had an ingrown hair on an unmentionable spot.. well anyhow, I took a needle to it last night to get the hair out. And it blood profusely. And now its kind of like oozy and blooding. Any suggestions on what to do? Do I treat it like a cut..clean it with peroxide and put some neosporine on it or what? Please help... this hurts! I know its gross!

My friend is having a lot of issues with his liver. He has a tumor in his pituitary gland ( it think thats where it is) and he takes A LOT of medication for it every day. Tuesday he went to the doctor and he ended up in the emergency room and they ran all kinds of tests on him. They are suspecting Crohn's disease, they found two intestine abcesses, and possible enteritis and he has an infamated liver and think it may be Hep C- probably from a dirty needle they used at the hospital (they ruled pretty much any other possibility out of how he could have gotten it). My question is if there are any holistic remedies that could help? he has to wait a whole week to find out what exactly is wrong with him and he cant even take anything for the pain because of his liver. Im worried that once they do find out what is wrong with him they will just give him more medicine.

Bunch of questions related to this....
How exactly does Wellbutrin cause a person to lose weight? What's the approximate time table for the weight loss, i.e. how long before I notice a loss? What can a person do to encourage the loss along, besides the obvious--exercise and healthy eating. More meals, but smaller? Avoid certain types of foods?
I'm chock full of questions. I've been on Wellbutrin for 2 weeks because other SSRIs have caused weight gain and severe lethargy. The Wellbutrin has upped my energy so much, I'd stay on it just for that! Thanks!
PS I'm on Wellbutrin XL 300 mg/day.

So, I'm trying to start consuming a fresher diet. I want to start eating more fruits and vegetables. Fruits I have no problem with; I love fruit. Vegetables... Well, let's just say the list of what I like is shorter than the ones I hate. I've never liked broccolli or green beans, and I feel like I'm limited to only eating salad (romaine or dark-leaf salads) as my only way of getting my greens in. Carrots are great, but I get tired of eating them after a week straight. Anyone have any suggestions to help me consume more veggies? As raw as possible, not because I don't want to cook, but because I don't have a whole lot to cook food with. Thanks!
