yes, they do, and yes, you can. Using a tampon won't cause you to lose your virginity.

Yes. It can be a little harder for a virgin to insert a tampon. Especially the first time. You might be inserting it at the wrong angle. The vaginal canal curves backwards. It is not straight. You need to get a feel for the angle and then insert the tampon at a 45 degree angle while making sure to relax. Make sure that you use a tampon applicator that is small enough for you. While inserting the tampon it helps to squat over the toilet or put one leg up on the seat. After you have gotten the large part of the tube inserted push the end until the applicator is separated from the tampon. If you can feel pain still then the tampon isn't in far enough. Make sure that your first tampon is not the kind of tampon that will only expand to be huge or it could be very painful to take out. After the first or second time you won't even feel the tampon anymore. Best of wishes!

Using tampons has nothing to do with your virginity. Talk to your mom about it maturly and maybe she will. The now make jr. tampons that are more slender and smaller for young girls. I have always used tampons so I am not sure why your mom would say no. As long as you use them like you are suppose to (not leave them in to long or anything) then I wouldn't see a problem with them. They are much cleaner and more comfortable to me.

If a virgin is comfortable using tampons........ go right ahead, it won't hurt anything... no idea why your mom wouldn't let you. . . . A tampon is much better than feeling like you're wearing a diaper again....

Do virgins use tampons? Yes.
Should they? It's a personal decision.

I remember those old wives tales. "They" used to think that using tampons destroyed one's virginity. That's not so. But, she IS your mother, and for now you need to do as she says. When you get older you can make your own decisions

If you fell comfortable with it, then it's fine. I use it. By the way, I feel more comfortable with the tampons then pads.
