my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer and was immediately started on 13 rounds of chemo 1 every week. After 2 weeks of treatments she was extremely ill and went to the hospital and found fluid building around her heart. She said no more chemo and the doctors said 6-9 months without treatment. She said that was fine. On That Thursday she was watching tv and talking to all of us in the hospital and after her shot she seemed like she was resting, but then we realized she was in a blank stare with her eyes fixed and grey. She passed away the next day never changing the fixed gray stare. What happened-is this typical?

I weigh 117 my height is 5'1 I'm a young lady in college. I do not exercise, but I am skinny. My problem is that my face is fat, it this something that I can chance? I will start Aerobics soon, any advice to slim down my face, is there hope in intense Aerobics?
I have chubby chicks.

Hi...My son's eyes have dark circles around them, are all swollen, he says they itch and sting and they hurt when he trys to close them...he looks like a ghost from a horror film... He gets this every so often and they look really terrible...He get's enough sleep so i can't see it being anything to do with that, can't think he's come in contact with anything different (allergy wise) Any ideas anyone?

Last exam was sooo painful. Really sharp stabbing pain. It felt as though a sharp knife, was cutting me. This is no exaggeration.

Doctor told me it hurt, because i was sooo tense. So tense i clamped down on the Speculm.

How can i relax my plevic muscles ??

feel a bit tingely . legs feel not only numb, like nothing is thier to support my body as I walk, they feel like Im going to fall- by the way this woman is in her 70's and she had geomberay syndrom in her younger days and also has a touch of arthritis in her spine. Also the skin that covers her ankles and feet feel very very tight, like they have been burnt or sretched tight but it has not, its a mystery?

This morning my friend was eating food and when I left I saw her spit up the food she was chewing on and she would eat it, chew it and spit it out with out even swallowing. I need help. I had blood test done for Diabetes done a few months ago and it tested negative. Of course I was relieved, considering I was a classic risk example: overweight. Despite my being overweight, I am lucky to have a relatively healthy blood pressure and my blood cholesterol was normal.
However, I was born with Hypothyroidism (low thyroid gland activity). Could this affect the test result? Also, I may have made the mistake of having coffee that morning (but with no cream nor sugar).
I called up a doctor at a health clinic I go to (it's for people who have no health insurance and can't afford a private doctor) and asked him about this and he said that as long as the test result was not positive for Diabetes, I should have nothing to worry about.
Should I take his word for it or get a second opinion (even though it will drain my bank account)?
Anyone who is in the health field and can give me some feedback will be greatly appreciated.
