I have been struggling to get a full nights sleep lately. I am not worried about anything but getting a decent nights sleep. It takes me ages to fall asleep most nights... then i wake up 2 or 3 times in the night. Can anyone help with some ideas of what i can do to get SLEEP!!!

I have had three already, one in 1998, baby 26 weeks, died after 18 hrs as lungs were not matured, second one in 2000, baby preterm, 28 weeks, had to stay in incubator for a week, one testicle up to now not developed, third one 2003 at 6 months, still born. Have not been on the pill since Oct 2005 and missed my period three weeks ago. I think I am preg although I have not confirmed with doctor yet. I am a bit worried I get complications everytime I fall preg. On the last one I had to have a blood tranfusion as I had lost a lot of blood and my gyno told me a week later that he had almost given up on me and it took him long to remove the baby, anyone out there with similar problem or advise, I am desperate, please help.

would someone please tell me basically what your glucose number should be (when doing finger stick) I know you can't just go by one reading, but she has alot of symptoms thirst,urgent frequent urination, rapid weight gain,excessive hunger.Any info would be appreciated. Thank-You.

Dec 1st, 2005 I was in an accident. I went to a chiropractor up through August when they told me my treatment was done, and essentially I was recovered. My neck and back still hurts when I sit, lay, stand, work out: too much or too long. I'm also prone to headaches, a problem I never had before. I want to settle SOON, but I still have problems... is it too late to go back to a doctor for an exam or something? Or... is the pain typical even after treatment?

she is 66 years old doctors stated her case as choroidel dystrphy in both eyes her IOP is 12 mmhg in both eyes visual activites of 20/50 with +3.25/-1.0-60 righ eye and 2.0/-0.75 left eye with 20/30 last week in TV it was said that U.K doctors were able to retun vision to rats and researches are going i want to know about that matter and adress of the institute to have more infomation please take the matter so serious because iam ready to do any thing to help my wife and ican bring her immediately to UK if there is any hope to cure her

Don't tell me how bad it is for me; I've sucked my thumb all my life and, so far, no problem. I just feel that if I can do so all night it will leave me even more relaxed but I wake up with my thumb out, though I go to sleep sucking it.

A friend has been on and off drugs since he was 13 now 27 he's just gone off the rails again. Parents have now given up. Is there hope for him. Has anyone really beaten the addiction. He's done everything heroin,pills. Now we hear he's had Ice. Is there hope or should we all wipe our hands off him. His parents say he's severly depressed . I think that was caused by all the dope he smoked. Anyone got advice on how to handle this.

I have suffered from depression for about 20 or so years. My employer knew about it when they offered me the job. This year has been very bad for me, so I have had quite a bit of time off with it.
With the new disability act in place, and with it covering mental health, does anyone know if I can be sacked if things don't improve soon?

Last Friday,I went for a rountine annual checkup and the doc hv detected a tumor but could not confirm if its cancer once further tests are completed.I m scared that if its cancer, should i tell my wife? i'm the sole breadwinner of the family of two kids.I 'm very sure she will not be able to handle the news if confirmed.I m extremely confused and depressed.What can I do or how to tell my wife?
