Health - 19 November 2006

Im talking about the outer part of your ear, the part you can see. I hot hit in the side of my head with a shovel (dont ask lol) and my upper part of my ear has been swollen for the past few days. It hurts to touch and is a pain wearing helmets. I dont think its possible to break your ear but i was just wondering.

p.s. - it doesnt seem to be bruised.

i can jump and this is the only reason i feel that its not dislocated.

ok, I have a friend who actually "died" twice! From overdose of heroine. They had to bring her back. She had no heartbeat-lips were blue,she was dead (the doc's say) She lost her boyfriend in her arms as he died of the same thing. She has a beautiful baby son that I know means the world to her. I know drug addiction is a disease. She is on a med patch to help w/the withdrawl and the urges.This last incident her family had to do c.p.r. w/her baby sitting next to her, she now has to go to counsling and have drug tests done. She asked me for my urine to pass off as hers. she said she took a pain pill and it will show up. She just aksed another friend 2day for the same favor cuz I said don't come to me again I can't do it. I'm so scared that she is prob doing more than she is saying and I love her so much! She will lose her child if caught doing anything. And We could lose her to drugs. mayb 4 good this time. if i tell her parents, they will tell her I told them. What do I do?

I was dizzy for a month. Then I went to the doctor and they check my blood sugar which is 56. The doctor told me to check the blood test. And everything seems to be fine. At first she told me I have reactive hypoglycemia. I was extremely hungry all the time. She advice me to eat high protein and high fiber in my diet. I was wondering do I still have reactive hypoglycemia, and why was the test shows that everything is normal. I'm really confuse. Sorry if I confused you with all this. Thanks for your help.

I suffer from major PMS. how i can stop it? When I'm on my period I'm extremely irritable and fussy. I'm always yelling and screaming. Once I'm off my period cycle I'm normal again. Is this normal? In addition, is it normal to bleed out lumps of blood when you're on your period? Do those lumps mean i'm eating unhealthy or are they blood clots? Is it true your period cycle filters out all the bad blood in your system?

Ok so I'm 17 and I weigh ...ok I'm a girl and I'm not telling, but a lot and I really need to lose weight. Not only do I need to but I'm a high school senior and winter formal, prom and graduation are right around the corner and I want to look great. But here's the thing, I try to hit the gym at least 4 times a week and I'll do about 45 mins of cardio and I'm slowly getting into the weights and machines like those but my weights not coming down. Not only that but I can't seem to actually stick to any plan I make for myself. Like I said, I'm only 17 so I'm really tight on money and there's no way I can get a personal trainer. I need to lose weight and I need to do it now. I'm hopping for 40 pounds my May. Is that too unrealistic and how can obtain my goal?

My doctor prescribed me with 20 mgs (1 tablet) of Celexa per day, however, I've noticed next to nothing from this and took 3 when one of my attacks struck me particularly hard. I noticed that it made me a little drowsy, however seemed to help me. I know it was irresponsible and childish, however, I'm wondering if anyone with experience or such can tell me REALISTICALLY bad this was for me. If 3 helped, shoudlnt I try and ask him to raise the dosage?

I'm a crier. I cry a lot. I actually bawl because of movies. I bawl when people I don't know at all die. When some or something upsets me for a while I have an emotional burst where i'm crying and screaming and cussing. They are usually incontrollable. It's like i have no control over what i'm saying. My dad assumes I'm acting and i'm doing this to get attention. which really pisses me off. It's weird because I'll completely cuss someone out yet ten minutes later I can't accurately recall what i even said. it's like a moment. any advice, tips, comments...

ive had reconstructive jaw surgery 2 yrs ago in jan... i have metal plates in my lower and upper jaw all the way around (i got kicked in the face by a horse went i was 11) i was wondering why does my screws from my plates come out?? the doctor said i wont hurt if they one came out ive already had one plate removed, but i have another srew from my bottom jaw working its way out..it dont hurt no swelling...doctor says its fine ..does this mean that my jaw bone is growing together/healing?? they cut away 1 inch on the bottom jaw bone away. i was just wondering
