I am pretty sure you wouldn't be able to jump. I don't think you would be able to move it period due to the extreme pain you would be in. A hip dislocation is a medical emergency. There are blood vessels that can be easily occluded if the head of the femur is out of place. This could lead to tissue necrosis (death) and amputation. Probably more information than you really wanted with this one, but oh well.

If your hip were truly dilocated, you would not be sitting there typing on the keyboard. You would not be standing, walking or jumping. You would be lying on your back, on the floor, writhing in pain. The foot of the affected leg would either be rotated inwards or outwards, and you would have no control over the movement of the leg. I don't know what you did, but you did not dislocate your hip. If you had, it would not likely spontaneously relocate itself. Orthopedic surgeons are usually big burly guys because it takes a bit of force to both dislocate and relocate a hip joint, even in little old ladies. You could have fractured the hip, and still walk around a while, but again, the pain usually is such that you don't have to ask if something is wrong. If you are really in so much pain, go visit the ER or your doctor for a proper examination and diagnosis. People on Yahoo Answers do not have x-ray vision via the web, and they can't diagnose things like this.

If you had a hip dislocation, you wouldn't be able to walk let alone jump. Dislocations are quite painful but then so are many other hip disorders. See your doctor for a diagnosis.
And many thanks to "the mom", a fellow nurse who says what I've said many times before: We don't have online X-ray vision. And you can't get an online diagnosis.

If your hip is dislocated you won't be walking on that leg. It will also probably not look the same as your other leg. Yes you would be in pain.

If your hip was located it would be very difficult for you to walk, let alone jump. However, do not ignore pains in the hip region because if a nerve is pinched and ignored, it could lead to more complicated outcomes.

It would hurt SO BAD you would be unable to do much of anything with it.
You CERTAINLY would NOT be able to JUMP...
You have likely pulled or strained something, really.
HOWEVER, if you are really concerned you should BY ALL MEANS visit a physician...
