Help. I's soooooo scared, and panicking. bee sick with anxiety.
Have a huge fear of being "put to sleep". It petrifies and terriffies me. lol.

What will happen?
Does it hurt?
What will it feel like?
Will i wake up during the operation?!!!!
Will i wake up afterwards?!!!!

Please help me. Don't know what to expect. And also really hate hospitals, and anything medical. HELP PLEASE

Really thinking about not having this operation done. (altough i need it) lol.

i'm 19 years old and before i lost my medical my doctor diagnosed me with undersctive thyroid. he put me on levothroxine and told me to come back in 3 months. well a month into the treatment i moved home from where i'd been and lost my medical. i'm unemployed and don't have a way to get to SRS to apply for government health care. i've been off the med for nearly 4 months. until i started taking the meds i only experienced fatigue and a few dizzy spells here and there. i only sought medical attention when it interefered with work. my hair started falling out a little at a time pnce i started the meds and i didn't feel any different while on the meds. now i'm off them and the only diffence is now i end up with ten or twenty strands of hair on my fingers when i run my had through my hair. i had a great immune system before the meds and now i'm sick every other week. everything is a mess! what do i do??

I'd been having some pain in the upper part of my stomach for a while. So I go see my doctor(I never go to the doctors). He pressed on my stomach and I about jumped off the table! He said "Your liver's enlarged! And you'd better quit drinking now!" With all the shock that had hit me I never asked him what that actually means?

Im 16(almost 17), 6'3 with all my pubic hair most of my armpit hair, abit of facial hair and a clump of hair in the centre of my chest. I also have a line of hair beginning to appear from my pubic hair to my belly button.My penis is 5 inches when erect. But it has been that size all my life.

Last ten years ago, found that HBs antigen positive. On recheck, still positive nine month ago and anti HBe is reactived(6.39), ALT(SGPT)=24, AST(SGOT)=31,HBsAg=2370. Now check again, anti HBe=3.66,ALT(SGPT)=19, AST(SGOT)=67,HBsAg=2100.

Can someone help? I went out to town and sat down for a couple of hours in a food court, after a while, my arms started to feel itchy, I think something bit me but didn't take much notice.
When I got home, there are mosquito bite-like rashes over my arms, back of knees/legs, my backside and I'm starting to get them at the back of my neck too now!!
They don't hurt at all (except in I start scratching it hard), just really itchy.

What happened? And how do I get rid of this rash?

My girlfriend has a lot of pubic hair and she was recently told that it's unsanitary for her to have so much and not shave or trim. She has become somewhat insecure about it and I'm disagreeing with her friend so I would like to know if there is any medical reasons for her to shave or trim her pubic hair

my wife has a wound to the tummy area after an operation and has a wound bag over it to collect the discharge from it the only problem is it keeps on leaking at the bottom where the bag sits on a crease in the stomoc so when she bend over and stands up (as you do) the seal between the bag and her skin breaks and thus it starts leaking
any ideas would be helpfull thanks

My 2 year old got her flu shot today and the health officer gave it to her in her butt. I was surprised by this, as she has always gotten her vaccines in her leg by her doctor. I am wondering if this will affect the effectiveness of the flu vaccine? Does anyone know? I read online (I know, dangerous) some sites said that shots in the butt do not work as well...

I think I am going to call her Dr. on Monday and ask what they think. I doubt they'll say to give her another shot, but I'm curious. I need her flu shot to work this year as I'm 9 mos pregnant!
