And how do you know you have it too?

My feet are always cold come winter or summer with or without socks...i have never paid attention to it but someone told me it may be a result of anaemia. I am going to see a doctor next week but i would like to know a bit more about poor blood circ.

Gentle exercise for your circulation, and iron tablets should help. But you should ask the doctor to try and find out the cause of your anaemia.

There are special accupressure inner soles sold which improve the circulation by providing reflexology as you walk around. I was recommended these, bought some from USA at great expense and then saw the same ones in a UK £1 shop and lately in gimicky gadget catalogues. They worked well in the winter but actually made my feet too hot in the summer. A side effect is that you lose weight because they increase the metabolism.

if you have poor circulation the first things to look at are your diet and lifestyle. narrowing of the small blood vessels caused by bad diet and lack of exercise are known to have a bad effect on the circulatory system. if your diet and lifestyle is good then it suggests that there is some underlying cause perhaps anaemia or another medical problem.

Potassium might improve your blood circulation. Anemia is a result of iron definciency. In short eat more meat and bannanas.
