i have really thick hair on my legs.when i shave it, it grows back the next day, so i started waxing it.but, i dont want to wait till my hair grows back long enough to wax it again, i think that just defeats the purpose of gettin rid of the hair.plus, because my hair is thick, sometimes i have to wait till it gets at least half an inch long to wax it off so the wax can get a good enough grip to pull the thick hairs out.i want to buy an epilator, but have a few questions, and money and pain does not matter.does an epilator only take out small areas at a time? how does it work?do you just move it up and down your leg as if you were shaving with an electric shaver, and it pulls the hairs out immediately?is it a lengthly process where you have to do every little section at a time?also, do i still have to wait till my leg hair gets half an inch long, as if i am waxing,for the epilator to be able to pull it out?or can i use the epilator right when the hair grows back and is stuble?

Hello... I have suffered from upper and lower back pain for 14 years due to a car wreck. I deal with it everyday and I know what is causing it. I am however having a completely different problem today and it started yesterday while I was deep cleaning my mom's house. The stabbing pain is on the left side of my back ranging from my shoulder blade down to my kidney. I also have the same pain in my right shoulder (from the top to my neck). The pain is tingly and stabbing at the same time. When I move the pain changes and I can get into a position where I don't feel it at all. Does anyone with experience know if the problem I'm having has to do with nerves or simply pulled muscles? I've had many sore muscles in my days but have never felt anything like this. I'm mainly asking because I know I won't be able to get in to see my doctor until at least Monday and I need to know if I should take it easy or try to continue moving around. I appreciate any advice I can get. Thanks!

i just turned 64. twice divorced and i blame job for my current isolation. had four-way bypass this year and house burned down in april. no family to speak of. struggle with diabetes stemming from desk job where eating is main form of pleasure. newspaper copy editor. i think i want to die now. my shrink responded: well, some people want to live and some people want to die. thank you mr. jung, mr. freud, etc.

What is it about a six-pack (Abs) that turn some women on? I mean, I have know some women to go crazy over guys with six packs and not care much about anything else. I think it's absurd to like a person soley for their physical features. Although having a six pack is a slight sign of a persons health but it can also be a sign of a lack of good health.

I've had my bellybutton piercing for about 3 years, had it done ages ago at a salon, everything has been fine, healed well etc. and had no problems for the past three years.

However a couple of days ago I noticed it was sore when I changed the jewellery, and removed the bar as I thought perhaps it was inflamed. But now a few days later and it's painful to touch and to insert any jewellery into it. There is also a puss like substance (nice!) which comes out when I squeeze the hole... any ideas how to clear this up, and what could have caused it? As I said it's been fine for years, seems odd to have just all of a sudden gone funny! The only thing I can think of is I was at the beach, and perhaps some sand got in? But I've been to the beach countless times before and encountered no probs with it.

At the mo not wearing any jewellery in the piercing and cleaning it a few times daily with antibacterial lotion, but don't want the hole to close up!

I'm a healthy 18 year old, and sometimes after I jack off my balls hurt as if they're gonna implode or explode (whichever, I can't tell the difference... my balls just hurt)

I have heard that if you wear glasses with lenses that turn everyithing you see upside down, and leave them on 24 hours a day every day.

That after about a month or so your brain adjusts the way it processes the image so that the image turns right way up again..

But then if you take away the lenses and view the world normally again the world is once again upside down, and takes teh brain another month or so to readjust back.

usually only wear specs for close work but find I need them all day at work, preparing and eating food etc. I decided on varifocals because I constantly walk about looking over my specs. Today with new ones I cant see computer screen properly and feel vision is worse instead of better. I paid 383.00 for them!!!!!

I know that SADS is a condition related to lack of sunlight, ( my brother has it severely) I ocassionally have a few days, when I seem to get it. We've had so many gray days this fall, and it's knocking the socks off me!

I miscarried on 9/28 and bleed for a good week. We decided if I got pregnant again then that would be ok..Well things have gone down hill and my stress level has been extremely high. It seems like right now is not the best time for a baby. We had unprotected sex once with the withdrawal method on 10/28 while I was bleeding. I was on the 3rd day of my cycle. My period came 29 days after I miscarried( I was also on BC for a week in a half during that time). Since my period, I have been cramping off and on and it seemed like a few weeks ago I had pregnancy symptoms again. Sore underarms, some heartburn, dizziness...but that has all seemed to have gone away..even some nausea and headaches. ( I also have been suffering off and on from a sinus infection for the last few weeks). So now I am day 28 and no period. All I am getting is back pain..no cramping since this weekend and no sore breast..I keep thinking I am pregnant again...do you think I am just paranoid?? I have ovarian cysts as well.
