When my cousin had his tonsils out when he was 7, two days later he was eating jacket potato, spaghetti bolignase and spaghetti hoops.
As long as they were soft he could eat it.
But I don't know how much pain he's in on anything so maybe he wouldn't want to eat that kind of thing yet.

Know the asteroid wellhead tonsil stones them for many years and it's been title not eventually.

Best decision I've ever made! I was shocked by the way of getting out the stones out. It was so easy, but more importantly, painless. I really liked the little trick he had for preventing gag reflex. He have one happy customer here.

Anything soft or liquid-based dish is good. Don't forget soft or pureed foods rich in flesh-repairing Vitamin C.

But the best thing to eat after a tonsil operation is ice cream or gelato. It's soft, nutritious...and best of all, the cold ice-cream acts as a mild anti-inflammatory. (Ice cream is what nurses usually recommend to tonsillectomy patients in the hospital.)

Anything that he wants to eat. I would graduate to something a little more solid but still soft like potatoes, pasta, etc. Make sure he drinks plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration.

Milkshakes, the nutritious ones especially, some ice cream and other soft cool or cold foods .Creamy puddings are good. In the warmer choices are scrambled eggs, or very well mashed hard-boiled eggs. There are many more choices,I am sure you'll be able to consider..

pudding, jello, eggs, pancakes, and anything that is soft and can be eaten in small bites. I'd stay away from anything that is really cold/hot or salty. I tried soup and regretted every minute of it.

HI,
LET HIM EAT ANYTHING HE WANTS TO AT THIS POINT, THAT IF IT DOES NOT HURT HIM. IF TOMATO, SPICY FOODS ARE TOO PAINFUL STILL, HAVE HIM EAT BLAND FOODS. ICE CREAM, CREAM CORN, PASTA WITH BUTTER SAUCE OR CHEESE SAUCE, MASHED POTATOES, BAKED POTATO.....ANY THING SOFT AND NOT TOO SALTY OR SPICY. GOOD LUCK
