When having sex, is it really UNSAFE to use 2 condoms? I've heard that it's actually NOT double the protection, instead it creates friction between the two, making it much more likely to tear the condom(s). Can someone please set the record straight for me?

i read your intestines can hold up to a week worth meals even if you have a bowel movement a day. Is this true?

Ok I am about 30 pounds overweight and have tried walking but I always quit doing it. I started running about two weeks ago (and haven't done it in about 10 years) and I really enjoy how it makes me feel. I have started slow and I'm not trying to overdo it. And I make sure to stretch and all that.

But my problem is now my knees are killing me! Is this normal? Will it go away? Is it something I will get used to? My husband says it shin splints, but I don't know. Is it my shoes? What shoes do you recommend for someone without much arch? Thanks for any advice!

I'm curious what my 4 year old is thinking or going through. He's extremely smart. I don't know what his functioning level is yet... I want to help him to get better, so if there's any suggestions on how I can help him to focus without feeling pressured, that too would be extremely helpful.

I am a college student and my major is one that attracts mostly males and mostly geeks (not always a bad thing). I really like this guy that I have a class with but he is always really nervous, shy and basically acts like he's scared of the world 24-7. He is really smart and I would really like to get to know him better if only he would let me. I want to know how to approach him in a way that won't scare him off, will make him comfortable and allow him to open up to me. I know that is all up to him but anything I could do to help would probably make it a thousand times easier on him. I don't know if he has ever had a serious relationship before... I'm positive he is a virgin... I just want to make this a comfortable thing for him, if he is interested in me, too, that is. I can barely get him to talk to me about anything except homework... I just want to try my best to make this a happy experince for him, not a scary one. Thank you for your help with this 'issue.'

I recently started to teach dance and workout classes at the gym. What is the best way to motivate someone working out without making them feel dumb or like a kid.

I lost 44 lbs myself so don't want to offend people but I am generally really encouraging and upbeat!

My husband suffers from epilepsy that may be caused by brain damage or has brain damage from seizures. He attacked me one night in front of our 3 year old son. It was truly out of the blue and over nothing - we had not been arguing. I asked him to get the pizza out of the oven and he jumped up cussing and charged me, swinging. He wouldn't let me out of the house. I had to beg. He has had episodes like this in the past, but usually after a seizure and directed at other people. One time it took 2 police officers and 2 emt's to tie him to a gurney because he was fighting them. I am afraid for my son and myself and have left him, though love him deeply when he's not like this. In counseling, I've realized there have been control issues : i.e. telling me how to dress, quizzing me on where I've been, etc. He kept justifying what happened until he got my divorce papers, now he's seeking counseling and I don't know what to do. I can't blame him for medical, but can't go back in fear

I would have to say that the worst thing that happened to my feet is when I was walking barefoot and had to jump down off of a 3 foot retaining wall to get to the path leading to my friend's house. I wasn't looking when I jumped, and my right foot landed directly on 2 quarter inch thick, 3 inch long nails. At first I didn't feel too much, I just thought I landed on a rock. But when I tried to walk away I realized my right foot wouldn't move. So I finally looked down and saw 2 nails sticking out of the top of my foot, one between the 2nd and 3rd bones, and the other between the 3rd and 4th bones. So I managed to pry my foot loose and when I did it looked like a red waterfall. It finally healed up alright, except for some nice indentation scars where the holes were. And did I mention that I could see right through my foot once it quit bleeding?
