Health - 19 November 2006

The pain happens every 15 minutes or so. My throat is a little sore on the same side. I don't seem to have any of the other symptoms associated with an earache except that I generally feel miserable, perhaps a flu virus. Thank you.

I am 34 and most of the time I feel as if I am in my 20's. Amazingly I have known people that are in their 60's that say they feel like the are in their 30's. Some even think they look that young. How do you feel?

A close friend of mine and I have been talking sicne Aug. We've chatted into some really deep convos and have always told each other the truth. Straight out...... About our sexual experience, lifes, past friends / bf / gf and the normal getting to know each other questions. Hes been there for me in my time of need (which is alot if you have my parents') and I've been there for him.....

When we go out people always ask us, if we are dating or how long we've been together.

We are truely naturally drawn to each other. I don't know why. But everyone asks us that when we are out together or at work.....

Now, I've been patient long enough and when asked him if we were ever going to date, he replied " I don't want to date you b/c I'm afraid I'll hurt you and I don't want to do that"
Okay. What the hell does that mean?
Second---- Why get mad at me when I'm out with other guys and won't tell you their names?

Did I do the right thing?

I was diagnosed as bipolar, but i have don't so much researsch and I don't have the manics (hyperness) of the illness. I have been on EVERY medication out there. I am a 23 yr. old female, who just want to live a normal life. I recently went of all of meds for good and i haven't felt this good in a while. Now I have been having heart palpations and my doctor says it's due to stress and he wants me to try other antidepressants. What should I do?

I have also tried "Tadenan" a herbal supplement sold in drugstores for two months. However, I have not noticed any improvement in my passing of urine (it's still weak in "caliber" and "driblling"). Do you have any suggestion aside from prescribing drugs for it?

Is it possible to smoke and never develop lung cancer? I don't smoke but my daughter and son-in-law do .They are so young, I wish they would quit.Just curious about how long it takes to develop lung cancer once you start smoking...Lana

I'm currently taking Biaxin for sinusitis. Anyways, i'm feeling better, but I'm coughing a lot, and I spit up white flem. Last night my Asthma was bothering me so my dad to me to the ER. My oxygen level was 100% which is really good. Anyways, I was advised there to take my ventolin puffer every 4 hours, 2 puffs. I'm feeling better, it's just now I'm scared I'm going to stop breathing during the night. Last night dad and I got back at 2, and I woke up at 6 because I was upset. My mom is fed up because she wants me to get better, she hates seeing me so sick. My dad is okay with it and he had the same thing until he discovered he had allergies. Right now, I'm feeling loads better with the ventolin aswell as I'm taking my regular puffer, and singulair. It's in control now.

Is there any way possible for me to get over my sinusitis faster?

I'm just tired of being sick, even though I'm slowly getting better.

Due to an unfortunate incident, I lost my upper right incisor. A few months ago, I got an implant (I'm still waiting for the crown). My upper left front tooth has a little chip that's been fixed with bonding but overall, my teeth are a little discolored. With the new implant, I'm going to have to get whitening done but with the bonding material, it just seems so much to have to make sure all my front teeth would be the same shade. I'm 19 and I'm thinking of getting three veneers ---- for my upper left incisor and my two front teeth. With that, all my four front teeth would match.

Does anyone have an opinion on this? Should I do it or am I too young? Does it seem like a good idea?

*I know I should speak to my dentist but I just want to hear other people's opinions too.

I have a friend I've known since first grade who hold her breath/ I'm not talking about in the shower or while swimming (she's a lifeguard), but randomly during class and even like at tables in restaurants. Is it unsafe for her to be doing this? I'm concerned there may be some underlying thing going on like epilepsy. I don't want to confront her about it seeing as she does it subtly and it doesn't cause any obvious problems.

Any ideas?

if you have cancer of the throat and they remove your voice box and the cancer has spread to your lymph node for sure (it has) and they do radiation and the doctor says the chances for survival is good. if they don't take it out then you have six months to live, does he saying your survival is good mean you for sure have six months, or you have atleast years left?

it began since last week of october. it isn't very painful but it gives much discomfort in me especially when i swallow. when i woke up early in the morning, as if it disappears but later till night it appears again... causing much discomfort when i swallow or if i "move" my inner throat.

i was just wondering, because they say that it is natural and there is no ephedra in it. i want to make sure that it would be safe to take. see after i went off birth control my metabolisim slowed a bit so i wanted something harmless to help me along. not for immediate results but so i can feel pretty again. i eat right and exersise 1hr a day.
