I'm currently taking Biaxin for sinusitis. Anyways, i'm feeling better, but I'm coughing a lot, and I spit up white flem. Last night my Asthma was bothering me so my dad to me to the ER. My oxygen level was 100% which is really good. Anyways, I was advised there to take my ventolin puffer every 4 hours, 2 puffs. I'm feeling better, it's just now I'm scared I'm going to stop breathing during the night. Last night dad and I got back at 2, and I woke up at 6 because I was upset. My mom is fed up because she wants me to get better, she hates seeing me so sick. My dad is okay with it and he had the same thing until he discovered he had allergies. Right now, I'm feeling loads better with the ventolin aswell as I'm taking my regular puffer, and singulair. It's in control now.

Is there any way possible for me to get over my sinusitis faster?

I'm just tired of being sick, even though I'm slowly getting better.

Very good question! I know what you are going through and the same thing..unfortunately there really isn't much you can do..If you haven't tried a warm steam inhalation try it..it helps break up the mucus in the sinus cavity..get a humidifier for you room, elevate the had of your bed or prop yourself up with pillows to help increase oxygen flow through you're mouth and nose..You will get better and the recovery time is approx. 3 to 4 weeks..Good Luck to you and I am praying you get better fast..

I really have no idea what sinusitis is but if it has anything to do with the face, I'd suggest spicy foods as a way to help you feel better, and maybe Sprite (don't ask me why, but my mom use to give me sprite when I was sick and it, no other drink, always made me feel just a tiny bit better. Maybe it was psychological, who knows). I don't know if spicy foods or sprite would help the healing at all, but I know plenty of fluids (mostly water) would. As far as the fear of stop breathing while asleep...Yeesh! That would be a scary thought. I'd try to make it appoint to wake up every couple hours if I was worried about that.

I hope you feel better soon. :)

I kinda had the same think last week. Though I haven't had a reoccurring asthma attack in many years. Trying looking at the site below. Very helpful in these situations.

Drink fluids -- get rid of muscus ( which by coughing it up and spitting in sink, is also getting rid of it OUT of your body so that it can't infect you again....)

I drink lots of OJ / Juices / Health Smooties / Tea

No soda.

TAKE VITAMIN C SUPPLEMENTS. I ALSO TAKE ZINC. AND DRINK PLENTY OF WATER TO BREAK DOWN THAT MUCOUS. DO U EXERCISE? THAT WILL OF COURSE STRENGHTEN YOU ALL TOGETHER. STRONGER HEART AND LUNGS WILL ALLOW FASTER HEALING. AND I HAVE HEARD OF TAKING HONEY, IT SURE HELPED MY SORE THROAT, MIXED WITH LEMON JUICE.
