Best have that checked out right away. I waited to long and it got infected. I was in the hospital for 11 days. (4 in intensive care) the dentist was a local doctor with out much experience. He tried removing the tooth, by pulling it giving me 6 shots of Novocain. it wouldn't come out and he broke it. Leaving small fragments in thus winding up in the hospital.
The wisdom teeth are said to be removed as soon as possible. If left they push the other teeth out of alignment causing pain and possible jaw dislocation. Seek Medical help right away, and remember...ice is your friend.

I am pretty sure you are usually supposed to have those removed.........

If your mouth is too small ( and most are) the wisdom teeth will misalign your other teeth.

If you haven't seen a dentist about it you better do so soon!

If sounds like you definately don't have enough room in your mouth for them and that is why it is hurting you when you open your mouth wide. They are putting pressure on the soft tissues in your mouth when you do that.

No 2 people r alike. Whens the last time u went to dentist? They need to take xrays to see whats going on. If u don't have dental insurance, do u have a college or dental school university in your area? They have dental clinics. U can get services done at minimal cost... yes these are students but not babies. Adults who are in final yr of studies ready to venture out on their own. They are monitored by board certified dentist while performing procedures. Chances r u need wisdom teeth removed.

Myself, hubby and one of my children have had them cut out. I was put to sleep, cut out and went home. While I was under my hubby was sent to get prescription filled and when he return I was awake. Follow the Dr (dentist) orders to the letter. Take meds as prescribed, rest and don't take no shortcuts. You'll be fine. Go easy on food and make sure u brushing like they tell u til everything is healed. F/up even if u think not too.

Yes, most people do go to the dentist and have them pulled. Personally, I had no insurance, no money, and no real will to go so I sat through the pain. I have all my wisdom teeth out now, and they don't hurt one bit. Don't be so fast to run to the dentist.. unless you absolutely can not handle the pain, or if they are growing in sideways or impacting your teeth. If anything, have a dentist look at them, but pulling them is not always necessary.

My bottom wisdom teeth took two years to push through fully.
Some people come in fast and some slow. Best thing to do is go to a dentist to get them pulled if you cant handle the pain.
Use oragel on them if you dont want to go to the dentist. It will tempoarly numb the pain.

I have the loudest mouth on earth and the dentist told me I have a small mouth.

I have to get my wisdom teeth removed.

Its very common for people to get them removed starting at age 16 or so.

You can delay the day of having them removed by taking pain killers, but sooner or later you will need to get them removed b/c it will mess up the alignment of your other teeth which no one wants to have braces twice in their life....

Good luck....

you may not have room in your jaw for them to come all the way or the right way
