Please help, My Sister is 46 and cannot control her bladder very well, she will often wet herself when excited OR when running outside with her dog. BESIDES Depends, is there any medication or exercises she can do? Physically she is not out of shape. She is 5'7" and weighs about 135 lbs.

Hi...

I suffer with Charlie Horses in my calves almost on a nightly basis. They are so painful. It is driving me crazy!!!! I try to stay hydrated and eat as much greens as i can for calcium as well as i take a daily multi vitamin and glucosamine with MSM. Am I missing something here? Also, not to be too blunt but it is affecting my intimate life as well with my hubby. I get charlie horses in my inner thighs during "you know what"... ;-) Is there anyone out there that can help me out, some ideas or maybe someone with the same problems...any ideas would be helpful. I have not said anything to my doctor yet but am planning to. I am just wondering if there is someone or something out there that can help in the mean time!! Thanks to one and all!

I have had a sore throat for about 1 month now. I went to the doctors about 1 weeks ago, and she said it looked fine, and sent me home. But this morning, when i woke up, i look in my throat with a flash light, and it is really read. My tonsill's are white and swollen. I have a hard time swallowing, even liguids. And my voice is hoarse. My cheast hurts when i breathe in deep too, but i dont know if that has anything to do with it.

I have to work during the time that my doctors office is open tommorrow, and i cant take off work with such short notice. But i have today oof. Since my doctor isnt in today, should i just go to the ER, or should i just wait for this to go away on its own?

Angioplasty performed(successfully) after detection of blockage in two coronary arteries.Something went wrong & blood started accumulating in the heart which was extracted through injections and syringes for over 36 hrs.But,after the blood was reinjected in the body,via the wrist vein,the fluid kept accumulating,which was drained out gradually.Even then,after medications,some fluid is still visible in the cavity surrounding heart which causes CONSTANT pain,even after two months of angioplasty.Doctor remains baffled and helpless.Recommends steroids which have already started showing side effects.Can anybody please help or suggest some alternate remedy/doctor?

My Dad (he's pretty old) insists that it's silly to drink water when you're on a pill that reduces the liquid in his blood (diuretic). We've tried to convince him otherwise. He has the classic symptoms of dehydration: sunken eyeballs, diarrhea, abnormal tiredness, etc. But we can't convince him to drink more than just the minimal amt. of water per day.
Please help. Esp. if you can point me to references online that discuss this.

Okay, I haven't started my period yet but I know I will start soon. But I am wondering if there is a pattern in discharge. Like do you have a lot of discharge and then start your period or do you have not have very much at all? Like some days I will have discharge and some days only a little. Also I have been having low back cramps for probably 2x a week, but then I don't start my period.

Recently I came down with a nasty stomach flu during which I also had a small amount of diarrhea. The entire sickness lasted about a day and a half, but during this time I noticed that I had developed a few tiny blister-like sores and possibly some small lumps on the Labium Minus. I have never had any sexual encounters before, hence my concern for why the condition has arisen. I believe it to be some sort of bacterial thing, but I can't be sure. I've read elsewhere that bacteria from the bowels can be harmful to the vagina, and am wondering if the diarrhea could have been a cause. It is also extremely itchy, and seems dry, though I am doing my best not to sratch it. I have been wiping it clean with warm water but because it has only been a little over a day, I've seen no results. Would a bath help? If anyone could offer me advice as to what it is, whether or not it is serious, and possible treatments, I would be greatly appreciative.

I read that studies were made on the health benefits of drinking at least one glass of plain water upon waking up, first thing in the morning ( even before brushing teeth and taking breakfast).

The article claimed that it can cure sickness and diseases like diabetes, tubercolosis, arthritis and even cancer and many more.

Has anyone tried this treatment before ? Any results ?

I did Weight Watchers Online about 4 years ago and I now want to lose a few pounds before Xmas, I am going to use my Weight Watchers calculator to do so. I've forgotten how to keep points if you want to use them for a special occasion etc, can anyone clarify how this works again please?
