Recently I came down with a nasty stomach flu during which I also had a small amount of diarrhea. The entire sickness lasted about a day and a half, but during this time I noticed that I had developed a few tiny blister-like sores and possibly some small lumps on the Labium Minus. I have never had any sexual encounters before, hence my concern for why the condition has arisen. I believe it to be some sort of bacterial thing, but I can't be sure. I've read elsewhere that bacteria from the bowels can be harmful to the vagina, and am wondering if the diarrhea could have been a cause. It is also extremely itchy, and seems dry, though I am doing my best not to sratch it. I have been wiping it clean with warm water but because it has only been a little over a day, I've seen no results. Would a bath help? If anyone could offer me advice as to what it is, whether or not it is serious, and possible treatments, I would be greatly appreciative.

Could be a bacterial thing. Especially if you had no sexual activity. However.. just because you havent had sexual activity recently, Herpes could be in your system and you wouldnt see any symptoms like you are experienceing until now. the virus could have laid dormant ( or sleeping stage) in your body for many years and now something could have triggered it. stress, foods, other sickness, etc. . Go to a doctor and tell him or her of your symptoms. blood tests or samples from the source may be required to get a accuarte analysis.

diarrhea has a lot of gastric acids in it, so the sores could very possibly be from that, especially if you wipe from back-to-front (which you should be doing the opposite). A warm bath would probably be very good for it. I would at least call the doc for their opinion

Stay away from the bath and stick to showering until you get checked out by your doctor. The bath may start provoke a yeast infection.

Best thing to do is get to the doctors!

Good luck!

It sounds as if you have the problem under control, keep a close check on it and see a Doctor if it does not clear soon. Treat it like a dipper rash and you should be good to go.
