if you can't breath because of having the wind knocked out of you,would breathig into someones mouth help them catch their breath faster

Depends entirely on how they got the wind knocked out of them. A fall onto the back or other impact of that sort, yes it would since the air was simply blasted from the lungs by impact pressures. If the person was punched in the pit of the stomach, no it really wouldn't do much since the person stops breathing due to temporary paralysis of the diaphragm from impact on the solar nerve plexus. If the loss of breath is from a punch in the stomach, mouth to mouth may be necessary if the persons body takes too long to regain control of the diaphragm, to prevent damage from oxygen deprivation. Normally though, the diaphragm regains controlled mobility within seconds. I hope this answer helped you.
