This is going to sound funny, but the is a home remedy and it really works.
squeeze some limes into a small cup or plate and add salt. get a q-tip, soak the q-tip into the lime and salt mixture and rub the cold sore..
keep doing this every 2-3 hurs...and magic....your cold sore will dissappear
