Why not see your doc for some preventative medication. There are many meds that are used to help prevent migraines. It makes more sense to find out what is causing them and prevent them if you can and if you can't then try preventative medicine so you get less of them.

Headaches can be caused by so many different things. I have severe migrains and I am on a prescribed medication for that, however I do get daily headaches. Since Advil, Tylenol, etc do not work for me I have tried something more natural. I read this in an article and I wish I still had the article to show you, but if you take 300-400mg a day of Vitamin B2 it is said to help, or even coenzyme Q 10(CoQ10). I have been using the CoQ10 for a few months and it seems to be working. Both are water solutions, so if your body has too much of it or does not need it, it will rid it self through your urine, so you do not need to worry about overdosing. You can find these at Wal-mart, or Walgreens. They are not very expensive. Also gynsing(sp?) has been said to help daily headaches as well, but that I have not tried. Hope all goes well, goodluck!

This would suggest you had some help on delivery and had some injury to your neck. It is not uncommon for someone to be in a whiplash type accident and never have headaches again.. The best advice is to get the cause taken care of...not trying to treat the symptoms. The doctor of chiropractic sees these conditions routinely.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

Between the thumb and index finger pinch the flap of skin there and that can help with a normal headach. Best bet got to the dr or er and get a perventative and a percription. This is a life saver for me. Eat well and rest. Drinking lost of fliuds can help too, sometime you are just to dehydrated.

There are pressure points on your forehead and temple ( the side of your head between your ears and eyes ) and on top of your skull as well as where your jaw meets the skull. Place your index fingers at the center of your forehead and add pressure. move them in small cirular motions.. about the size of a nickle. do this for several seconds and slowly move your fingertips over to your temples and repeat. Breathe slowly but deeply. While massaging your temples use your thumbs to massage your jaw just next near to earlobes. ( basically your thumbs are rubbing right below your your index fingers. ) Then move to the top of your skull and press down as well..

do this for a few minutes .. in a cool room with fresh air. Or in a darkend room.

with practice you will be able to use each finger on your hands at the same time your pinky , ring, and middle fingers with be spread out evenly across your forehead, your index finger upon your temples, and your thumbs at your jaw point. It should look lik eyour covering your eyes with your hands.

hope this helps.

If you´ve had them from such an early age, consult a chiropractic: be sure he/she is properly qualified (US or France) Migraine from so early an age is often a small spinal column displacement which can be easily and painlessly corrected.

Get someone to give you a massage-the pressure points are located in the middle of the head and neck -if you can put your hands behind your neck(with your fingers) you can feel these two bones that connect the head and the neck, if someone can put just the right amount of pressure I am sure that will help ease the pain.....

slice a lime and rub it across your forehead...or slice a lime and throw it into your margarita and drink the pain away *just kidding* but the lime on the forehead thing really does work
