sounds like you have a fungal infection called thrush. you can use a product called gly-oxide. it's an anti-septic mouth rinse. it will sting, but you have to swish it around for at least 30-45 seconds. then you can spray chloraseptic in your mouth and swish that around...it will really help to numb the pain. you could possibly have a virus too...if that's the case, it just has to run it's course...usually 7-10 days for canker sores. if you're not getting any better after 5 days or so, or start to run a fever, go to the doctor...they might have to swab your mouth for a culture to find out what you have, and determine if you need antibiotics.

I responded to the above one, not sure if this is the same person but I too had suffered with Canker Sores ALL my life for a long as I could remember and they plagued my sister as well. My 6 six year old has been cursed with them now. I would get at many as 15 at a time all over (yes I counted them). Tongue, lips & gums. I'm happy to report that I have found something that keeps them at bay and keeps an occasional outbreak to just a few days instead of a week.

I'm not trying to plug any product but it is the Arm & Hammer- Advance White- with Dental Baking Soda & Peroxide. It has helped even my 6 year old. It comes in a glittery box and it is that specific one that seems to works. I tried a few other forms of it but that is the only one that does it.

They can be brought on by stress and I can also tell you that 'avoiding' highly acidic foods like strawberries, tomatoes, citrus etc will help keep them at a minimum too. I noticed I got them worse in the summer when fresh tomatoes and Strawberries were abundant. Give it a try. It's the cheapest treatment and has worked for me and My sister for years. Hope that helps

I don't know if this is what is causing your problem but I have an allergy to egg white and if I eat egg or anything containing egg white I get little dots on my tongue and inside my mouth and throat and it feels itchy and annoying. I wonder if you are allergic to something you are eating.
