Health - 25 October 2006

Hi everyone!

This past weekend Thursday, October 19th to Monday, October 23rd I was on vacation in Las Vegas.
Now if you’ve been there you know that Buffets, Booze and Sweets are everywhere there!
Before I left on Thursday I weighed in at 170lbs (I’m a active 6’4 female) and when I arrive home yesterday I weighed myself in at 166lbs.
I DON’T GET IT!
I never ate till I was stuffed (I never do) but I ate till I was content. I normally eat very healthy and so when I was down in Vegas I actually ate that garlic bread, ice cream and margaritas!

Could my very active lifestyle (I run about 60 mins a day) have had something to do with me loosing weight while on vacation?

I’m just in shock!!

I know children are picky eaters but my son is four and still will not touch vegetables OR fruit! He is very stubborn. I do make make banana or carrot muffins for him and hide veggies in spaghetti sauce. Does any one have any suggestions on this? I am getting very frustrated with this. My husband and I and our two year old are always eating them, so the leading by example thing is not working either! Help!

I'm house bound at the moment, well bed bound is more like it.. I'm tired of reading and tv and dvd's I listen to music alot, but I'm going out of my mind.. I tried knitting but cant get the hang of it.. any suggestions? Please only serious answers please, as you know this illness is not pleasant, Thankyou All.....

just wondering im bleeding but its not that time of the month yet and i feel like i constantly have to got o the toilet i got it last night and have had it all day it seems to be going slightly not as painfull now as earlier but iv never had anything like this before im 26 and have 2 kids and just wondering what apart from sex could i have got this from the only change i had was swimming in a local public pool. When i do pee it hurts in my lower stomache and feels like my insides are going to pop out can you help me i hate going to the doctors but i think it would be best to go and get it checked if anyone has had similar or known anyone whos had this feeling and bleeding please msg me thanks buggles

and he got well turned evil he would say oh i love you lets make love and stuff like that ... so he would make me lay on his bed and he would do that ........ evry day after school he would do that to me . 1 day i said no and he said why you let me all thows other times ... and then he forced me on to the bed and said fine you say no for that pazishion and turned me over and well yeah .......... what should i do now help me ??????????????

My father has sleep apnea and the Dr. gave him a blood pressure taking machine so for fun we took mine. My blood pressure was like 145 over 80 or maybe a little higher and my pulse rate was 100 beats per minute. I am 24 years old and was wondering if this is normal. Can anyone tell me why doctors/dentists (and anyone else who asks you to do something unpleasant or embarrassing) think that if they use the word 'pop' it makes all of the pain/embarrassment go away?? I have news for them - it doesn't! All it does is make them sound like a perv and heightens the pain/embarrassment. Why can't they just get to the point and say 'get your kit off' rather than 'if you'd like to just 'pop' your shirt off' or get on the table rather than 'just pop yourself up there a moment'. I mean it's not like you don't know why you're there...

My son had a bad asthma attack and was put on prednisone. He finished his course of meds 5 days ago then 3 days later he has a skin rash form his head to his belly button. He has an appointment tomorrow at doc's, but has anyone else heard of prednisone causing a rash after use?

I am 25 years old, and recently I have noticed that i am attending the toilet more frequently than usual. I am currently taking a pee around 6 times a day, even when i dont drink much fluids.

The thing that concerns me is that I feel the desperate urge to go, but when I get to the toilet, only a tiny bit of urine comes out.

I use this medication because it helps me sleep through the night. My doctor wont give me any other type of sleeping pills. Since taking this drug my memory has been very sluggish or I get total blockage of things and people that I should easily be able to recall. The decline in my memory skills started when I began this medication. 30 mg for 3 years and sluggish poor memory. Has anyone else noticed this side effect? This is very trouble some for me. I'm introducing a friend to someone and I've forgotten the friends name. Meal preparation is slower because it takes me longer to remember what is the next step. I have to constantly retrace my steps trying to figure out what was it that I needed in this room. I'm frustrated and want to quit this drug but I dont know what to substitute in its place because without it I cant sleep through the night. Can anyone offer me their suggestion.
