Yes! I take a product called CranBarrier for urinary tract infections that contains pure cranberry extract in a chewable tablet form. Cranberries are an effective ally in maintaining a healthy urinary tract. Scientific studies show that phytodnutrients in cranberries can help form a protective barrier between your bladder lining and bacteria. This action can help prevent bacteria from attaching to your bladder so it is more likely to be flushed from you system. Unlike cranberry juice that is watered down and packed with sugar CranBarrier gives you 1000 mg of cranberry extract and 10 calories, plus it has a proprietary blend of blueberry and uva ursi (bearberry) for a supplement unlike anything on the market including the OceanSpray product.
You can find CranBarrier and a number of great supplements at
www.Melaleuca.com.
Good Luck & Be Well.

A good remedy for any type of bladder/urinary tract infection is the AZO Cranberry Pills. They have some made specifically for infections and some regular ones that work just as good. Also stick to cranberry juice if you can stomach it, lots of water and clear non-dyed liquids such as 7-up and sprite.

I drink Cranberry Juice. There is something in the juice that inhibits bacteria from clinging to the Urinary Tract. Also wiping front to back helps keep the bacteria out of your Urinary Tract. Also wiping with a cool face cloth may help alleviate the burning sensation.

Antibiotics is a temporary fix and does not treat the cause of the infection; therefore the infections will generally return.
I suggest regularly taking all-natural Optiflora. This two-product systems guarantees delivery of 500 million microflora to the intestines. It includes Probiotic (Bifidus & Acidophilus...microflora) + Prebiotic (FOS...food source for microflora).
Also Garlic Complex which is a natural antibiotic.
Hope this is helpful and feel free to contact me with questions.

Lots of water and cranberry juice. You could also get an over-the-counter sodium citrate mix from your pharmacist. See a doctor if you haven't managed to clear it up after trying all these for a few days.

Go to the health food store and get aloe vera pills and take those. They contain a compund that keeps the E. coli bacteria from adhering to the bladder wall. This works well because E. coli infections cause most U.T.I.s.
