often when i go to a chinese/thai/vietnamese etc type restuarant, i will be really full in the stomach towards the end of the meal.

i was once told that this is because rice expands in the stomach when eaten, absorbing fluids around it.

i was also told that after some time (ie. 1 hr), it will contract again...often leaving me with the feeling after this time of being hungry again.

can anyone confirm that this occurs? i am quite sure of the expansion part, but not so much on the contraction.

i was wondering if shaving down there fully is a better choice or trim it. Its because after having a shave down there, it feels great to have it smooth but then after a few days , the hairs starts to grow back and can be quite pricky. So end up every 2-3days had to shave again. even though i used a new shaving blade each time with shaving cream,there is a need to shave frequently. The reason to use the shaving cream was to ensure shaving will be easier but its kind of freezing feeling when its applied.so its better to shave or trim? Is there any other method to avoid the pricky feeling also?

After my friend had sex with her ex boyfriend she has had some kind of obsession with him. She calls him every night she waits outside of his class room for class to end and she will find out where he is going so she can follow him. What is neglect? How do you know if you are being neglected? Can teens be neglected? I don't even mean neglect that is illegal. What if you just feel like your parents don't give you enough attention ( like were you trully don't get much attention) and you feel like they don't really care? Like, I feel like my mother neglects me, but i may be nuts. For ex: several times i've told her about my cutting & suicidal intentions, she listened but never brought it up agian. and she still knows about it, not like she forgot. Her cure is to put me on Welbutrin, & you are supposed to watch kids on that, but she doesn't. So, in the end i feel like crap but can't tell her cause she nothing productive happens. & she seems to spend all her time w/ her friend & worrying about her. She is often doing errands, or more likely at her friends, not home. She seems to freak over her friend and herself, & away when i need help. So i feel lonely, jealous, and resentful. am i selfish? Plz help, not sympathy

My bf has 200 some odd movies on his shelf. I have lived with hime for 8 months and can't remember which ones I have seen until I read the entire back or start it partway. I go to w-mart with him and graba movie off the shelf adn say gee this looks good adn he lovingly reminds me its on his shelf and that I fell asleep through the first half of it. I forget peoples names 2 seconds after i find out what it is. I forget my grocery list. I confuse actors and actress's names and their story lines. I can't remember my bf fav sport team or his favorite player. I can't remember names of cars unless we talk about it a million times. Sometimes when I am tired I get really spacy and even slur my words. My attitude gets really neg and I can't help but snap at people. I think I am a really pos person but this is irritating me. I am young still. Should i seek help or is this a matter of paying more attention and going with the flo? Do I just not consider this import info and discard it?

I have started weight training and want to know if i really need to take suppliments i am only looking to improve my pysique (cant spell) not get really big. i am eating healthy most of the time as i do want to lose some weight. Okay guys....how do you view women with "issues" (health problems, emotional crap, depression, etc) viewed? More specifically,
what about women that are trying very hard to work through their issues, rather than allow the problems to run their lives? Would you stop dating or persuing a woman who opened up and talked about it honestly? Are women with conditions either physical or emotional viewed as unlovable and undatable? Any serious thoughts on this would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
