Consider how much room there is outside of your body.People break wind for a reason.Your body expells excess gas to help facilitate digestion.When you disrupt the cycle,pain results.
Good for your partner if he can hold it in, but it isn't good for you when you try and get sick.

Some of us can not help it. Learn when you are likely to do it and make a dignified exit.
IBS is what is left after all other tests prove negative. I know because I have it.

Best not to hold them in, you fart all night in bed just let it out its part of you so why not suggest a farting competition. Better out than in!!

Sounds like you have loose bowl and anus muscles? do you participate in anal sex as this can sometimes losten your anus muscle and can also result in soiling yourself without choice! alot of gay men suffer from this and have to were tampons up their rectums or incontinance pants. I would go speak to you gp as this can be rectified with stimulant muscle shock pheripy.

YUK YUK.... Do you have IBS??? Do you have a huge smelly problem? Go and see a doctor and get tested for IBS it is more common then you think (Thats my friends excuse anyway!!)
