No treatment for low B.P. (hypotension).
Treatment for high (hypertension) includes a change in lifestyle, cut out salt from your diet, there is too much salt in processed foods, never add salt at the table or when cooking.
Blood presssure is monitored for a few days before commencing any medication, then checks on how effective the medication is.
As a rough guide, there are two numbers, systolic (top number) over diastolic (bottom number) if you are aged 30yrs take the top number plus your age 130/85. The bottom number diastolic is more important, ie: if the bottom number is consistently high 95 or above your blood pressure should be checked on a regular basis. If over 100 it is cause for concern.
Untreatreated hypertension over years can put you at risk of heart disease and stroke.
By limiting your salt & fat intake you can go a long way to avoiding such diseases.

The treatment for high blood pressure needs to be done under medical supervision. Measures you can take is to reduce salt in your diet, de-stress as much as possible and take regular exercise (this initially raises BP slightly but long term it lowers it significantly). If the high BP is at a stage where it needs treatment the doctor will prescribe medication. There are lots of different meds and he will select the one that suits your needs. DO NOT take aspirin on a regular basis without medical advice, it can be VERY DANGEROUS!!!!
There is no medical treatment for low BP as mentioned by others increasing salt may help but be careful as too much salt can cause its own problems.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

Hi.... Ali Sab!, There is no permanent Cure for B.P. and there is no other system of other Alternative Medicine for B.P. All the other systems can reduce the intake of Medicine and safe guard from side Effects.Hence I am sincerely advising you to go for Allopathic Treatment with a Doctor who Qualified with M.D. who can analyse the root cause for the Problem. There are several causes for the BP . some times Thyroid imbalance may also cause for the Problem. On analysing the cause the Doctor will prescribe the Medicine for controlling BP along with the treatment for the other problems caused for aggravation of BP. I am sincerely advising you you go for the Allopathic treatment and practise Meditation the Manner and Method you like. As has already been Said it will reduce the in-take of Medicine and helps to overcome side effects aroused due to Medicine and the BP you are having. If you are in Hyderabad, India you can get a Best Treatment in NIMS. There a Special Clinic for Hypertension is available.

There is no general treatment for High/Low Blood pressure as they are SYMPTOMS of an underlying problem. Don't go taking anything until you have checked with your GP.

depends on the severity of each one
for hypertension (high blood pressure) changes in diet such as salt, fat, and cholesterol restriction, medications that are used to lower the blood pressure along with a diuretic like lasix are given to help the body flush out excess fluid that puts pressure on the heart-making the pressure rise.
for hypotension (low blood pressure) changes in diet such as an increase in salt and sometimes fat (gatorade works well for the salt), and medications are given.
exercise in both cases is recommended to keep the heart healthy and to maintain blood pressure. at least 30 mins a day.

you could be cautious here because most all issue with high blood pressure are given pills that lead to sexual dysfunction totally lacking desires and then the frustrations of trying to over come the side effect of the sexual dysafunction..make high blood pressure blow from the side effect
