A couple years ago, I was diagnosed with pcos. The more I read about it, the less positive I am that I have it. The only symptom I have is very irregular/missed menstrual cycles, and my dr didn't perform all the tests she was supposed to in order to confirm a diagnosis. Is there anything else that can cause this?

what or how can I get my mom to take vitamins that she needs? She is 49 yrs old, going through menopause, depression and lots of stress. She thinks her Pepcid and Aleve cures everything. Don't get me started, it's really dumb. I try to get her to take vitamins but she won't, because she isn't the consistant type. Pharmaceutical drugs are not an option for her so don't even offer. Please hit me up with some ideas. Thanks

I swam about 2 months ago.Water went into my right ear.A few weeks later I’d hear a swishing sound in my right ear w/out even moving my head. My ear also felt full.My right ear started hurting later on and sometimes a ringing sound would come and go, then the sound stayed.I went to the doctor and I had to use wax remover for a week.I went back and he said I had an ear infection and put me on antibiotics, and it went away.I went back to him again because the ringing in the right ear was still there. He gave me prednisone and said another alternative is to do an incision in my ear if it doesn’t help because of the sticky fluid behind the ear drum-there’s a possibility I could lose my hearing.I want to avoid that if I can. The prednisone seemed to help in lowering the volume of the ringing sound. Sometimes it seems to go away almost completely.Other times it's louder. Is the incision still necessary? If there is still fluid behind the ear drum it possible that it can clear up on it’s own?

The teachers works closely with small children. The teacher shares the phone, washroom, and small lunch table with other teachers.

I've had a headache for three days. It comes and goes, but it's a mostly constant presence. It tends to linger behind my eyes or at my temples, but today, it's been moving into my neck, too. It's making me just a teeny bit cranky and on edge, which is not fun to deal with when you're hosting a Labor Day gathering. Nobody DARED ask for second helpings of potato salad, lest they encounter my headache-glare of death.

Have any of you ever had this happen, and if so, did you go to the doctor? What did they prescribe/conclude? I plan on going to the doctor this week just to make sure that I'm not dying from brain cancer or anything, but I just wanted to get a heads up on what might be wrong.
