the dosage will be on the side of bottle, also it say not to have more tha a certain % each day ,if symtoms get worst or they are frequent go see your dr .

It depends on what the problem is. But if you're talking about Pepto Bismol tablets (262 mg) and for regular diarrhea, take 2 tablets every hour as needed. For the liquid, take 30 mL every hour as needed. But you should really talk to a pharmacist about that because it depends on the problem, the weight of the individual, etc. If you have a bottle of Pepto Bismol, at least read all the instructions on the bottle.

lol pepto bismol may be given to a child age 3-6 5mL or 1\2 tab every 30-60 min as needed with a max of 8 doses per day, 6-9yr 2/3 tab or 10mL every 30-60min up to 8 doses per day, 9-12 yrs 15mL or 1 tab every 30-60min as needed up to 8 doses per day, and adult for travelers diarrhea is 2-4tabs or 15-30mL 4x a day for 3 weeks, and for peptic ulcer disease 2 tabs with 2 additional antibiotics for 10-14 days child < 10yrs 15mL 4x a day for 6 weeks
