I am getting married soon. But am tensed about the first night. Is the first intercourse really painful? What really happens and how to avoid the pain?

You must be completely relaxed. Talk to your husband before marriage if that's possible, he too would be more understanding.
Use proper lubrication and spend more time kissing, hugging etc so that you are not too tense during the actual act. It may not hurt so much if you stop worrying abt it. Good luck!

i had waited until i was married too to have intercourse..it doesnt really hurt as bad as most people say but i guess it depends on the womans body..just make sure theres enough lube and it shouldnt be that bad and theres really nothing u can do for the pain it will go away in a couple of days...good luck and congrats on ur wedding hope all goes well and dont be too scared being tense just makes it worse

It may hurt a little and expect some light bleeding. Your period might be late this time around, but dont freak thats normal
Just relax, being tense will make it worse. I think its great you waited. Kudos to you!

You can't avoid the pain. Make sure you've got lube, or make sure shes really wet. It will hurt. she might bleed, but thats normal. Good Luck On Your Your Wedding Day!

if its your first time theres no real way to avoid the pain. make sure that there is plenty of wetness and take it slow and easy each time it will get better. congrats on your wedding and good luck

YES HURTS A BIT, AND I DONT THINK YOU CAN AVOID THE PAIN....JUST HAVE A FEW DRINKS FIRST THEN YOU WILL BE LESS TENSE...

My first time didn't hurt. Just relax and make sure you are properly lubricated. You might want to buy some lubricant for you and your husband to use. Try KY jelly. It's a bit sticky though.

Relax have a few drinks and it might be painfull depending on your size and that of your husband. Just relax and enjoy your 1st time

Don't worry!Ur sex hormone will be so high that u just might not feel the pain.While having sex,u'll be concentrating more on the pleasure,not the pain.So just relax
