A couple years ago, I was diagnosed with pcos. The more I read about it, the less positive I am that I have it. The only symptom I have is very irregular/missed menstrual cycles, and my dr didn't perform all the tests she was supposed to in order to confirm a diagnosis. Is there anything else that can cause this?

I have heard stress, but with so much irregularity, I thought that could not be it. Can stress really cause many missed cycles? I thought it was just 1 or 2? (I do have a dr's appointment in a couple weeks and will be discussing this then. I just wanted to have an idea of WHAT to discuss!)
Thanks!

What is your weight? (I don't know what "pcos" is.) If your weight is low, your body won't oculate. Every woman has a shutdown point, based strictly on her bodyfat percentage, whereby your body figures you're in the desert somewhere, with no food - so why the he*ll do you want me to produce a baby? So your body stops your cycle.
If your body hovers around this line, it may be turning off and on the reproductive switch.
Food allergies are a more complicated answer, but body fat DIRECTLY controls a woman's cycle. That's the first thing to check.

Hormone dysfunction, anorexia, exercising too much. Menopause coming? Stress. Bad birth control pills? Poor diet.

Get your PCOS treatment in India .IVF treatment ,IUI,ICSI and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges all types of medical treatment andsurgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as some of the surgery including ivf treatment is not covered by insurance.
They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your IVF treatment can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The doctors are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.I recently also read about a chinese couple facilitated by forerunners healthcare were able to get their baby by IVF and a surrogate mother.
my cousin and her husband got their IVF treatment in India through the forerunners healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is a known case of PCOS.She is a very happy mother of a baby boy now. She just paid 2500 pounds for the full treatment for which she was quoted 8000 pounds in private setup in UK.I strongly recommend this company to you as they can be of great help to you.hope this helps

I even have endometriosis and that i manage the comparable element. Heavy era, vast cramps, and that i fall sick. My way of enduring the soreness is as quickly as experience the time of the month coming I initiate taking midol. That way that's in my gadget in the previous the soreness is there, because of the fact as quickly as the soreness is there... there is not any taking away it. Ask your surgeon approximately Hormone therapy.
