I've had a headache for three days. It comes and goes, but it's a mostly constant presence. It tends to linger behind my eyes or at my temples, but today, it's been moving into my neck, too. It's making me just a teeny bit cranky and on edge, which is not fun to deal with when you're hosting a Labor Day gathering. Nobody DARED ask for second helpings of potato salad, lest they encounter my headache-glare of death.

Have any of you ever had this happen, and if so, did you go to the doctor? What did they prescribe/conclude? I plan on going to the doctor this week just to make sure that I'm not dying from brain cancer or anything, but I just wanted to get a heads up on what might be wrong.

This sounds exactly how I get and its caused from my sinuses. I have to take benedryl extra strength. Its aqua blue in color, don't take the green ones they dont work, well at least for me they didn't. I would also suggest seeing a doctor because you could have a sinus infection. I hope you feel better.

The best remedy I have found, without incurring a $2000 hospital bill that only involves a shot and a very loud waiting room, is
#1 take 2 ADVIL MIGRAINE GELTABS
#2 go into a very dark (quite) room
#3 place and Ice pack on the forehead
#4 sleep for about 2 hours

You will wake up a new person and Good lUck on the Party

If you've been taking panadol regularly and its not working then see a Dr. If you havent taken any medication...do so and see if it helps.

Headaches can be stress or muscle related (neck/eye strain, sinus related)....stress about HAVING a headache in the first place, could prolonge it too. having a headache can cause neck pain due to tension. Take a valium (or anti-histamine) to relax the muscles and panadol for the headache and go sleep it all off.

What kind of headache? Water is probably the solution. You may have pulled a muscle in your dome. A muscle relaxer or diazepam will help that, but you need a script. Also consider mixed medicines and high levels of caffeine can be causing it.
