My levels are way too high. I can't do the "diabetes" diet. I get sweaty, shaky and weak, moody and tearfull. I am under a lot of stress....I have two elderly people to look after and I have to do all of the work...(housework, yardwork, bill paying, cooking, dishes, driving, babysitting grandkids, and on and on. I am at my wits end...I feel like its going to kill me and I can't get help from anyone. I don't know what to do.

I'm talking about the first weeks when you're eating cream soups and such. Would like to know how much you felt comfortable consuming. Also, anyone else have no appetite and no sign of fullness? I'm one week out of surgery and feeling fine.

I dont interact with people much. I take things lightly and i often loose my focus. My wandering mind doesnot allow me to remain stable.For e.g. my boss wants me to go back to India and lead a team there whereas i want to stay in USA and work.My low self image prevents me to approach him and say that i dont want to go. I have done good work for my client but i am not able to show it to my boss . Personally i feel frustrated of my attitude. I want to be active and aggressive in what work i do but i dont get an inner urge to pursue it with a strong reason.

I hate going to bed and i hate getting up so its not a case of hating bed. At one point id watch tv. another radio but at this point in time im into this web site. Any ideas?

I appreciate everyone is different, but if you have been on the pill for about 10 years, realistically how long would it take to get out of your system. I dont believe all this stuff about miss 1 pill and its all over!

My mother just had an intracranial hemorrhage stroke last week, & her at-home situation is not the most conducive for her recovery. I currently work full time, but I don’t have enough time at my current employer to qualify for the Family Medical Leave Act (I’ve only been there for nine months). I need to have income to cover my minimal but still substantial bills. But I also would like to be able to care for my mother because I am completely positive that I can't trust my stepfather to make sure that my mom makes the lifestyle changes that are necessary. My mom is an alcoholic, and she also smokes cigarettes. She also occasionally takes Vicodin (not prescribed). Her husband is also a smoker & an alcoholic, which is why I do not believe that he will be capable of caring & supporting my mother. Does anyone have any experience with caring for a parent & receiving pay through the state? Where would I go to get forms, info or anything else useful? Thanks to anyone who answers?
