go to a doctor asap
you are probably having some sort of allergic reaction to the bug bite.
do you know what insect bit you? make sure you tell your doctor that
good luck!

Take everyone's advice & go see a doctor! You shouldn't be feeling numbness over a bug bite. Not a good sign.

The swelling could be pressing on a nerve. Kind of like when your foot "goes to sleep" when you sit on it wrong for to long. You could try to get the swelling down by putting ice on it and propping it up. If you dangle your hand for long periods, the swelling will go up. When you sleep at night, prop it on a pillow.
I don't know how old you are (if you are underage talk to your parent about this) you could take a mild anti-inflamitory like ibuprofen (advil).
If none of this works then yes, go see a doctor.

Definitely worth a trip to the doctor or urgent care center. The sooner you get treated, the less damage if it is a poisonous bite.

It's probably nothing to worry about, but I would keep an eye on it for a week or so. If the numbness starts to spread or if the skin begins to look red and irritated, see your physician.

Get in to see the doctor, it's probably nothing some peroxide wouldn't help but your doctor will know the best course of action.

massage your hand. Clench your fist and release over and over. The bite might have caused a vein to close up, causing it to numb. It will eventually work itself out.

You should immediately see the doctor. If your finger is numb then it can't be a good sign.
